... About Life ||

I am Corey, a 20 year old UT Longhorn from Denton, Texas. I'm in an intense theoretical design program that's all about problem solving and process in order to achieve function and design. You are welcome to address me by my name or C-chan/CoCo/etc.! A few of my friends even call me Elf. The epic kind.

Some big aspects of my life are friends, nature, art, and music. I used to be a huge anime and manga fan but only dig in every once in a while these days due to being a busy college student. I'm more into American comics, currently (DC all the way). I love all things Tolkien.
When it comes to art, I use colored pencils and digital photography more than anything else. I'm able to use most medias, but due to lack of supplies or atmosphere, I don't use them nearly as often. I enjoy all art forms but I'm rather critical of anything abstract: it better have a good explanation! Though I cannot dance, act well, sing, or play music, I highly enjoy being exposed their worlds. I love a good film or musical. Despite the fact that I pretty much suck at dancing, I love watching professionals.


... About People ||

I sometimes come off as a more quiet person if I don't feel like talking, but once you get to know me I'm definitely anything but that!!
I'm outspoken when it comes to opinions and base my thoughts off of my lifelong experience, reasoning, and history. I don't associate myself with any particular religion; when people ask, I'm humanist. That basically means I believe in the ability of humans (if only so many of them would stop being so ignorant! ;p ). I'm always willing to listen to others, though, because there's no harm in learning a new view. I respect other beliefs as long as they actually respect me and don't simply say they do. Like a lot of people, I've been through some rough times and have learned greatly from it. I've learned who my friends are and what I want to do in life. I wouldn't trade being in this beautiful world for anything else.


... About Dreams ||


I want to travel the world!! D: It sounds cheesy and difficult, but I've never really had the privilege to travel... so I started with a few road trips and a couple flights after I finished high school. I'd love to see all the things I've learned about first hand! I love cultures, history, and animals.. they're things I want to interact with constantly! Luckily my loving boyfriend, who is practically the male version of myself, has similar goals in this respect and I can't wait to experience more with him. heart


... About Music ||

I enjoy most genres of music, but I cannot stand country, Christian rock, or most rap. That's rather odd, considering my being a Texan! I regret not being able to make music myself, though. I've attempted on a couple occasions to learn, but stopped shortly after. There's always the future I guess!

In current news ~ ~ ~


COLLEGE, hmm. Work work work, work work work. I'm in class 32 hours per week next semester with only 12 credited hours. Triple that will be my homework time if last semester was any clue. That's the life of a Fine Arts student! I love the design program, though... I get to spend nearly every day for three years with some of the coolest, smartest 17 kids I've ever met. We're becoming rather close knit already. :p
I'm already having to plan new living arrangements with my current roomie and best friend (been away in CA for school and now in Aspen for work), who is coming to live with me for a year or so!! I'm really excited.. and I love Austin! It's an open-minded city that any good Mormon or Christian fundamentalist would hate, haha! ;D

I am so sorry...but thanks for laughing at serious parts. =D I was thinking about going and yelling some sort of Harry Potter reference since the actor who played Edward is the same guy who was Cedric Diggory in the 4th movie (Although, I have never seen that one before...). Then again, I didn't want to waste any money or time by seeing it.

Trust me, snow is not that great. michigan gets a fair share, and between the crazy people on roads slipping on the ice, the overall blindness caused by the shear white of it and the bonechilling cold, I gotta say i don't see the allure people have for the stuff.



as for him I am sure we will hear about a preacher of some sort in the future who was spouting how god's will is to fight and then being caught in a 3 man male prostitute orgy. Tends irony is pulled to those types of people
