Thanks for the comment. I don't formally study or work in a science related field. I do find most of life itself to be science related though, so I informally study the variety of strange things that interest me, sometimes in a fairly in-depth manner.

I seem to have a thing for GIS systems right now, trying to figure out how to capture position and water depth information simultaneously from a GPS enabled sonar device, interpolate the data, and then generate bathymetric charts for a previously uncharted body of water... and I'm doing this for fun by the way... lol.
