During the 60's There was a live batman tv show. Adam West was Batman, Burt Ward was Robin. Ceasar Romero was The Joker, you can find a whole bunch of episodes on youtube. But beyond the show, there was the two tim burton batman movies, then the other comic book style movies. now therer is the dark knight movies which follow the stories more then the comics. The stories were darker. alot darker.
