Welcome to my profile. I am Capt. Mary Read, and you may address me as such, or as Jade, my nickname.

Location: Well...it varies, but I live in the Pacific Northwest.
Gender: I am a female, and proud to say so.

I am Catholic, and I love my faith. Everyday I work hard to live and walk by my faith. My faith is extremely important to me, but I do not judge others by their beliefs, and expect the same in return.
I love MUSIC!!!!! Listening to it...playing it...everything about it! I play the clarinet (7 years0, tenor saxophone (2 years), mallet percussion (only during the Marching Band season, when I'm not conducting, I play those), and piano (around 1-2 years, mostly self-taught after my Grandmother passed away). I am the Junior Drum Major and next year will be the senior. I am also a singer, and have recently been told that I can sing from alto to soprano but am more apt to the latter. I also listen to all sorts of music, but there are too many groups and singers to list!
I play sports for fun now that I have dedicated my time to other things. The sports that have stayed with me are tennis, I am learning to play thanks to a few tennis camps and my wonderful boyfriend, and horseback riding especially now that I now have my own horse. I played basketball and soccer for many years, and will still play for fun at times.
Aside from music, and my athletics, I am a HUGE Drama Geek. I absolutely love the theatre, and there is little anyone can do to pull me away from the stage. Ever since I was little, the theatre was in my heart. I have been in 4 musicals so far, and 2 plays, one of which is currently in the process. Theatre is just an amazing way to express yourself, and have a chance to be someone who you would otherwise never get to. I mean...how often do you get the chance to become a Who? Seussical allowed me to do so *breaks off into song and dance...* ...and now I'm back.
Other than these, my life is spent with my friends, and in various clubs, (Key Club, Drama Club, and Outdoor Adventure Club). Or with my animals...1 dog, 4 cats, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits, 2 goats, and 9 horses. I am a country girl, and proud of it! Or reading and watching movies...there are too many favorites to list...
