About the character:
Caent (pronounced "Sea-ant" wink Rividen is a kind-hearted half-elf male, age 19. He is an avid swordsman and will always stand for what he feels to be morally right, and is usually always sportingly optimistic. Having elven blood, he has a link to the magically arcane - and as such, practices it with vigor. Being a warrior, he cannot use too powerful of a spell without becoming physically exhausted (if he is in combat. Out of combat is another story). His most powerful element is FIRE, and he frequently uses it to aid him in battle.
Having been from a kingdom that does not look to kindly upon those who are other than human blood, Caent had to constantly hide his ears from the public. If he see him around wearing a rather oversized, brown hood, you will understand why. It was a safety measure and still is. He does not trust easily but a warm word goes a long way with him.

Birthday: September 2nd, 1992.
I'm Brandon, the guy who plays Caent. A lot of my friends say that I'm one of the most kind-hearted people they know, though I don't agree with them all that much. ;0 I DO tend to wear said heart on my sleeve, though. You can always tell what mood I'm in, but if I'm feeling anything negative I'm usually over it quickly. I don't have time to feel angry, or sad. Life is too short for that. If you see me in towns (Out of context, that is. Which happens to be most of the time because most people don't roleplay in towns anymore. :{ ) you'll more than likely find me afk (I tend to do that a lot, oops.) or goofing off. I love laughing, and jokes are my godsend.
I absolutely love the Legend of Zelda. Admittedly, Caent is very much influenced by Link. As stupid as it sounds, LoZ is something that has shaped me into the person I am today. Miyamoto has my thanks for creating them.
I love all types of music really, but a band that has RAPIDLY been growing on me is the Fleet Foxes. You should look them up, they're pretty good. More than likely, there's probably a Fleet Foxes song on my profile. they can be rather lengthy and intimidating looking but I assure you that you'll love it when you're done.

I've been listening to Helplessness Blues non-stop for the past week or so.
In fact, I've managed to memorize all of the words, done extensive research on its symbolism and themes, as well as shared it with most of my family.
(They loved it, BTW.)
