You get gold by browsing the various pages, posting in the forums, voting on art and avatars in the arenas under the "Community" tab, sending private messages (PMs), and by voting in polls. ^_^ There are threads specifically made just for "bumping" (which means to post the word bump or some variant simply to fill up space and earn a few gold). It can be slow, but with luck you'll be buying items you want in no time!
