Yeah, me either. I lurk in the avatar arenas a lot and pick and choose who I talk to. xD My old friends aren't around much anymore if at all, so that kinda sucks. There used to be a big group of us who hung out in the Gackt thread in '05 and had really great discussions, but a flaming 25-year-old elitist came in there and completely ruined things for us, to the point where she and her friends threw the thread so off topic that it actually got moved to the CB. And one of those friends of hers was a mod.neutral
That's it! It's the skins that make Halloween so great. 8D They always represent something, or you have to work for them to keep them. Christmas and Easter just don't have that, which is why Halloween events are so great. There's always the motivation of gaining your unique skin, and people will keep theirs for as long as they can as a souvenir. You can never get an abundance of skins, either; it's not an item you can sell. It's pretty awesome. ;3
Yes! I feel the same way.emo I got so fed up with it after a while. Of course, that's what I got for hanging out in "literate" threads. Eventually I moved back from the Music forums to the CB simply because anybody having a worthwhile discussion seemed to be completely rude, stubborn, and conceited. Sigh.
I'm liking this Halloween event, actually. :3 I like any event that gives us two ways to earn items. <3 Although, I gotta say, I don't think anything will top the year of the Grombies. xD The aliens vs. humans was almost at par with that, but nothing can truly compare. ;3
