I don't mind translators, but it's the prospect of someone speaking for you, even if they're just passing down the message through their own language. I would find it just to learn the language and communicate properly than with someone being the messenger.
I should actually learn how to speak fluently in the other languages that I mentioned. Most specifically Hebrew, Arabic and Japanese, and in that order too no less. : ]
I think once I've completed college and whatnot, I'll get into that and devote my time to perfecting those languages so that I can travel with ease. Hebrew, since my mother is Jewish, which makes me Jewish, and Arabic, since my dad is Muslim, and he wants me to learn the language. And Japanese because I want to go there for a while, and not have to rely on a translator to help me get a point across.
You're not stupid. People shouldn't call themselves that. Yes, I am reprimanding you because I know that you're an amazing person. I know a bit of Hebrew, Arabic, Italian and Japanese. But when I say a little, it's basically words here and there, and sometimes the odd sentence or two.
Sorry about that, my French on the computer isn't as good as it when I'm actually speaking it. I'm too lazy to incorporate the accents and whatnot. But I asked you how were you. It's been a while since we've talked.
