It's been years since I came back, sorry. Well, she really wasn't my sister, but I am unsure where she had gone. We had a falling out a while back so we dropped contact with each other.
Gotcha. I updated the hell out of the Generations List. A lot of past Racers weren't included and some were out of place. I'm sure I missed a bunch of others but I'll find them eventually and update it.
I agree. I met and talked to Blu a good amount of times. Sad thing is that he started logging on less and less after '08. It would go Blu, Jubei, and Crith for sure on how Racing came to be.
I started adding posts from other Guilds into mine. If you'd like, I can send you an invite to it. You can also add stuff to it as well. If you'd like to of course.
All Tier 1 Racers were the best Racers on Gaia. There's no single individual that comes to mind as "The Best Racer of Gaia"
And if I had to call somebody the "Godfather" of All Racers it would be Jubei since he made the tutorial/school of Racing. He didn't have to but he did. He shared everything that was needed in order to be a Competitive Racer.
Crithono would be right behind him with his information on how to tweak your pc, and the testing he did on all the cars and tracks.
That's not a bad way to see it. It definetly makes sense. It would have made anybody reconsider calling themselves "Pro" when they didn't have a tournament or history under their name. Reputation was everything in my opinion. Good or bad, it's what made everybody unique.
If I absolutely HAD to place the Racers in tiers it would go like this,
I always saw you as one hell of a Racer that was up there with Jelubi, Intense, Sinister, Jubei, Crith, D, and Q. You have history within the Racing Scene which also made everybody want to challenge and beat you. All of you were Racers that if placed in a tournament with 50 other Racers, it would be expected of one of you guys to win it because your odds are higher than the rest.
Also, I was against the whole "Pro Racer", "Amateur", or whatever title's people put upon each other. I saw that as belittling other's. Simply because everybody is beatable regardless of what title is placed on your head. As a matter of fact, without having to name some people, I would beat them back to back without having to lower my high quality settings. Of course I'm not saying I was a god at Racing, but I would expect a "Pro" to beat me while being handicapped 100% of the time.
From '08 - '10 I used to race on my neighbors wifi using a ancient laptop given to me by my uncle. I could honestly say that I matched Int3nse, Jelubi, and Zaraki in their prime. All of those countless night's training with them for that war we had with Rally Nubz paid offxd. I know for a fact that the other's had a direct connection to a router and were on a solid computer.
The game was for sure good on those with all of that but personally if you had great reaction and timing it would make up for everything else.
I ended up finding Cain's user he moved over to last night as wellcool search up the user: DragonOfSangelui
I know you said you have him on disc and called him but I had to finish up my search for him on here sweatdrop
You're not wrong at allsweatdrop
Looking back now, when everybody wanted Racing to have more brought to the table I truly believe that there wasn't more that could have been added. To begin with, it's a mini-game thick and through. And I never understood how some guys couldn't memorize 4 tracks and finish a practice race within 0:57 - 1:03. The game was perfect at the time. I also don't recall there being a beta to test all of the changes they did as well. Regardless, I want a guild that shows that there was a community behind "a game that required clicking one button."

I doubt he's logged on Gaia recently. The end result would have been the same regardless if I would have found his other user hah.
I'll be taking bits and pieces from various of the guilds that still have any history about Rally Racing. More or so to serve as a memento to The Rally Racing Scene/Community that once existed on Gaia.
I found this on one of the Racing Guilds that I'm in called " The Rally Racers II " here's the link where I found this: https://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=23518153
Apparently the image is up to date with his avatar, regardless if he changes it today or tomorrow the image will update as well. The only bad thing is that it doesn't link to the current user/profile that he moved over to sadly. If you spot this avi, it is Cain 100%. I reccomend having a look through your friends list from your current account, past account, and maybe even having a look at other people's friends list who could possibly have him on there.
No worries. Eventually everybody comes back to Gaia. So far I've added and talked to some of the guys we used to race against such as Tou, Saitoz, Chilled, Angelicri, and You, of course. All within a week of coming back to Gaia.
I don't see why not honestly. I may just reach out to Jelubi soon. The Last Racers guild still has a good amount of member's in it and some guy's have logged on since I've returned. Maybe have him promote me to Vice Captain so I can send out an announcement which would include my discord so a group chat is made and we'd all still be in touch.
