Ok dude, im not flaming, but i have a point to make. Set is hard, yeah, but it takes skill to play marching snare also. Its not just keeping beat, you also have the double stroke crap and everything, and different rolls and beats. It can be complicated. Its not just drums that make up percussion either. There's also the cymbals, other auxilary, timpani, and mallets. That and, not all percussionists are cocky. There are a few that can be bad in a group, but that either depends on how they are, or the band directors level of keeping them discipline. Please consider what you say about percussion before you say it, because yes, some people do find it offensive due to the fact that it is a very complicated assortment of instruments to master.
