The Flash created his own name, and so did the Fantastic Four, well, Johnny Storm chose them.

Spawn and Ghost Rider are really more of titles than names. Titles that the Devil made up.

Alright, what other superheroes actually chose their name. Other than Dare Devil?

Batman on the other hand, might have a more difficult changing his name if he was unlucky enough to get a lame azz name, because he fights in the shadows.

Besides, even if the public came up with some lame azz name like Bullet Prooof Guy, or Red Cape for example, the hero could always go and change it to the Public.

Another thing is...How many super heros choose their own names anyways? Doesn't the super hero get his name by being referd to by citizens, and what ever name they used to refer to him/her, ends up becoming the heros name?

For example, I can't use name, Dark Star, or the name, Phoenix, in the Marvel Universe so there I would use Cosmic G.
