I think you're referring to 'noob', which is still derived from the same thing, but noob - in my eyes - is an insult, saying you cant play or you're not good enough. A newbie or newb is someone new. At least thats what i think, not in dictionaryi think. xd
Well, thats too bad, cuz the fact that yer a newbie is no insult, thats simply a fact (if you are in fact that).
So, 'in fact' we're just telling the truth, even tho im just makin it a little more complicated razz
