Yuki does sound a tad girly in the Jap version.
I thought you watched the anime start to finish, manga definitely more satisfying.
The anime leaves it open like: Yeah, it goes on and we CAN continue it...but we won't.
The manga answers quite a few more questions that the fan would be asking.

I think Fruits Basket's dub is fine as well but that opinion isn't shared.
A frined of mine says they can't stand Yuki's voice in the dub. But honestly, in the Japanese or original version Yuki sounds kinda girly which is fine with me. It's just a first time watcher could easily mistake him for a girl. He DID wear that girly thing one time and oh, don't get me started on Momiji and the moneky one. Forgot his name but to mistake him as a girl is a part of the story so I'll let it slide.
