Groups I'd like to join

Unfortunatley we can't have everything we want in life. And that thing that I really want, but cant have is membership in a reenactors' group. Yes, the problem is that there are just no groups around here. But if I could join any group it would either be for reenacting the Civil War, or the legions of Rome.

The greatest hobbies in the world!!! They're kind of like cosplay/ LARPing but historically accurate! Unfortunatley there aren't any groups around here to join *sigh*. Oh well...

Games

Well, like any kid in this modern age I like to kill an alien, or lead my civilization to dominance now and again. Now my gaming tastes are far from leading edge (I own a PS2 and my computer can hardly open the internet). No I enjoy such classics as the Age of Empires Series, Age of Mythology, Empire Earth, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Soul Calibur 2, Battle Front, and of course: Halo.

History

Well as you can tell I'm pretty big into history and I like to celebrate that in my daily life by doing AWSOME things like designing "historically accurate" LARPing costumes for myself and my brother, making little historical jokes/ references to myself that apply to daily situations, and of course, my 3x4 foot Cival War Board Game.

Well as many of you know I'm enlisted as the 1st 2nd second mate (as opposed to the 2nd 2nd mate). And as such my duties include: sleeping, pillaging, making sure John Anderson doesn't shoot the whole crew, taking over where the 1st mate needs it, and of corse, Adventuring.

LARPing

Larping was introduced to me a few years ago by a friend of mine named Dylan (no. unfortunatley he is not black. *sigh*...) I went to a few events and I was hooked! Now me and my friends (for lack of the "propper" materials) find foam lying around the house, tape it to some poles and then beat eachother senseless! One time Blake even broke a 6 ft pole over my back! You learn real quickly why there are weopon regulations in LARPing when you play with us! So if you ever want to go to an event or just come over and beat people with foam with just me, Blake, and whoever else wants to come just let me know! It's a load of fun! xd

Cosplay

When it comes to Cosplay I'm a novice. I only really learned about it when I had met Mary. However, since I grew up in a daycare I've been dressing up all my life, so cosplay came naturally. I went to my first Anime Expo this past July and it was a balst! I'm definitely planning on going every year! I don't have any pictures of myself donning my cosplay attire 'cuz I'm not a creepster, but Mary has pleanty biggrin so go cheak her page out.
