But if you couldn't tell, I'm a dork and have been doing this off and on for four years.

When you get gifts, which come in PMs, you go to your inventory, click on it, and click OPEN.
I should scold Brandon for not teaching you better.

Also, to get more gold to buy stuff:
Hover over COMMUNITY>
Click on Forums.
When you go there, scroll down and go to Chatterbox.
Post stuff in there.

You get different amounts per post, but the first ten should get you 300 gold or more.
