Indeed it is.
I'll keep that in mind. If you're gonna do drugs, at least be responsible! >:U
I would sell my soul to be tired by 11:30, lol. Regardless of what time I wake up (or how many days it's been since I last slept, orz) I physically cannot go to bed before 1 in the morning. Dx Do you take naps throughout the day? I feel like my life would be so much better if I did. xD
I live on an itty bitty peninsula so the beach is pretty much everywhere. Buuuuuuuut it's cold, smells like fish, there are fishing boats everywhere, and there's more rocks to stub your toes on than legit sand. >:U emotion_brofist Once a Hermit, always a Hermit. Stay true to the sisterhood and stay indoors!
Wait, wait, wait, can you really not swim at all? Woman, learn how! D:
Are you good at driving? Is it hard? God, I'm so terrified of car accidents, just sitting in a car freaks me out. Dx Be responsible and don't text and drive! I ******** despise people that do that, especially people that don't really know how to drive. Jesus made Siri for a reason, punks. >:U
Haha, well good luck! What do you plan on doing after high school?

O. I flew to San Francisco to see the lovely Matt Skiba, then back to Texas to live there for 3 months, only to get sick of it and come back to Alaska. .-. So I flew from Anchorage, to Seattle, to San Francisco (although I was at the Oakland airport 'cause the tickets were hella cheaper), to Austin, back to San Francisco, then to Anchorage, and then the lovely 5 hour drive from Anchorage to this small a** town. Dx
I LIKE DRUGS Yeah, I think it mostly has to do with jet lag. But then again, I always develop a screwed up sleeping schedule during the summer, so when school starts, it's reeeeeeeeeeally hard to get back into the groove of things. .-. I'm getting there, though! (For example, I woke up at 1:30 PM today instead of 8:00 PM~ ;D)
Is there really any other way to spend your summer? Movies about going to the beach with your friends are nothing but bogus. As long as I have Internet, my laptop, and preferably my cheap, outdated gaming consoles as well, I am very content with being a hermit. >:U
Ah, I totally feel you on the whole car thing! I haven't even begun learning how to drive yet (and I make fun of everyone else my age that doesn't know how to drive, orz), and I know it's important, but it seems so scary. ;-; I don't get carsick like you do, I'm just terrified of car accidents. Plus, everyone and their grandmother is on meth here, so there's a lot of chances for a potential car accident. >o< Ooh~ The road test is the last thing before you actually get a license, right? Gahh, good luck!! (Also, happy early birthday~)

Pretty alright. I think I flew enough for a lifetime in the past 3 months, orz. Dx
I spent all day moving furniture and making my room look amaaaa~zing (not really lel) so now my bones are just like. Erghrgierhdbleghah. Y'know.
I also keep skipping school because insomnia. Dx Which I should probably stop doing, given the fact that it's the last year and if I fail, I'm sort of screwed. .-.
What about you, how have things been for you? ^^

Crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap.

Sorry, we haven't talked in forever. Dx I didn't really use Gaia that much during the summer, and then I was without Internet, but now, I'm back!

And I'm trying to remember what my username was when we would chat. .-.

Seizurette, Piquechu, Sergeant Seizure, Vodka Doll, Astro Cherry, uh... I've been through way too many usernames, then nobody ever remembers who I am. -.-

Anywho~! We met on the FC forum several months ago, and told lots of chemistry related puns~ Just wanted to say hi. ^o^

It really does. And, especially because Sciences aren't my strong suit, when I can tell it isn't right, then that's a pretty bad sign.

I know, it is so unfortunate. And a character I really liked died in the last episode of one season. And I actually would have preferred they leave her that way. She was like kind of a sidekick, and I feel like they could have done a lot with the main character (either getting her someone new or just letting her be for a while) but like the first episode of the next season - she's back. Like really? What was the point of killing her? Three months of suspense, but no effect on the plot.

Elementary is good, it does put a different spin on the characters. But for some it actually elevates them and makes the more interesting, for me personally.

Stargate is amazing!!!! It is such an interesting concept! And I love that there is Science behind it. It isn't like 'yeah you just have to accept this happening even though it seems totally unlikely and impossible that anything like this would ever happen and we're never going to even try to explain why'. My favorite episode, I think (though there are many I like) is in Season 4. Its called Window of Opportunity. Teal'C and Jack at their best.

The problem with Lost Girl, for me is the relationships. Like, I'm fine with a love triangle but its turning into some weird decahedron kind of thing. And it doesn't really seem necessary. They keep adding more drama and its making it more convoluted than interesting.

I'm pretty good at guessing who it is, when they actually give you the clues. I don't like it when they have like the first 80% in actual intense investigation and then just pull someone out of no where, who wasn't even mentioned before and who has a loose connection to the victim at best.

That's true. It might have been harder for him to accept it then after seeing Morgana, some one he did at one point trust, change because of magic. Maybe if he found by seeing him use magic to save him, rather than just having Merlin tell him.

I really like Elementary, Stargate SG-1, West Wing, Xena, and The Musketeers. (I also like detective shows, but mostly because I like trying to figure out who did it before the characters do.)
I used to really like Lost Girl, because it it had mythology and strong female characters and it was interesting. But, it has kind of started to lost its appeal.

It probably makes sense not to send the exact same one. I've heard so Universities outsource applications or that some people work in admission for more than one, and it would be awkward if they ended up reading the same one twice.

I agree. I think it would have been interesting. I think that they couldn't though, because if Arthur knew, there would be no reason to keep it from Morgana. And if Morgana knew, or even saw Arthur as different from his father, then she'd have had no reason to see Arthur or Merlin as enemies. It's the same reason even the Merlin and Gaius both knew Morgana was had magic they didn't tell her, they just let her think she was losing it. If they had told her, she might have been able to handle it better earlier on and then where is there antagonist?

It could be. But I think it depends on how much you enjoy the material too. I mean, I love English so even things that might be 'hard' don't really seem like it because I enjoy it. Is that why you want to go into Astrophysics?

That makes sense. I use an app on my phone called iStudiez Pro it is really useful! I can put in all my classes, assignments, professors, and divide it by semesters. It also sets up so it gives me reminders before things are due. Honestly, I no longer know what I would do without it.

I've heard that those are important, as well as SAT scores. It is really different applying in the US versus Canada. You have to do an essay, right?
Hopefully it will all work out. I mean, I'm sure it will. And even if you don't get your first choice, you can always transfer later if you really want to.

It is! And yeah, I knew it was coming, (or suspected), because the story is pretty old and even if they wanted to, they probably couldn't change it. Arthur dying is how it always ends, but I still didn't want it to happen. And, honestly, Merlin should have confessed earlier. I mean, Season 1 he should have confessed. Arthur trusted him, I'm sure he could have handled it. Even if he had avoided him for a little while, he would have eventually forgiven him and things would have just been better.

Yes, I'm an English major. I considered a Philosophy minor, but I transferred to a Univ. closer to home my second year and some of my prerequisites didn't transfer over.

That makes sense. If I really wanted one that was expensive, I'd probably have to start a quest thread to keep on track.

It's on Peter Singer's solution to World Poverty. It's for a Philosophy class. He basically says people are in poverty, we should help them. And he argues that we should give whatever we can, and if we spend more on ourselves than what meets are basic needs (like buying a TV) then it is wrong.

It will probably depend on what school you want to go to. I mean, I wasn't super involved on campus. I mean, I was in band and a couple clubs, but that was basically it. But, I guess it could also be different because I'm in Canada. And in Canada, they only look at like your last two years of high school. And even then, sometimes you get to choose which of those classes they see as well.

Merlin! I loved Merlin. Merlin and Arthur had like my favorite bromance. So much sass.
But, prepare to cry.

I think I've heard of that, but don't know what it's about. Hopefully it will finish buffering soon. I've had that happen sometimes, and the worst is if my computer switches to a different internet, (because my school internet requires sign in sometimes) it will say it is fully loaded, but really it just lost connection and stopped loading.

I wish I could say the summer brought the same to me, but I can't. Though, I choose to take summer classes so can't complain too much. I do generally have time for some things, most of the reading I have time for is school reading.

That's good. And feel free to let me know if you need any help with quests for things. I tend to randomly accumulate large amounts of Gold and I don't know what to with it so either spend it on things I don't really want or need and then give those away. Then I'll have no money and be good. Then it will appear again. It's a weird cycle.

I'm good. Have some school work I'm putting off doing. It's like 2000 words essay but it really won't take me any more than 2 or 3 hours, so I'm not really worried. So, I'm watching X-Files.
