I've very thankful that I at the very least have you around here smile

But that aside, traditions are really fading, and I mean amongs young people, a lot of people don't really know what to do with eggs on easter by now, I'm not talking about those who still have something about it, not everyone can understand what I'm talking about if you don't have truely spoiled people who have no idea what that holiday really is except an excuse to party.

There are those of us who have family who won't co-operate and gather together at ANY holiday. There are those of us who do NOT drink. We join with our "extended families" and give thanks for all the blessings we have received throughout the year. We give praise where it rightfully belongs along with presents, when we can..

NO ONE needs a manual for holiday traditions! They keep changing as does the world we live in. We keep the basis of our traditions and move on, from one generation to the next. We add new "traditions" as we find them. But alcohol isn't a NEW tradition. It goes all the way back to the beginning of time. There have always been abusers of liquor and may always be.

I give thanks for what I have been blessed with this year; love, respect, sustenance and shelter.

May the Lord bless you with all of the same at this time of year.. heart smile heart
