Name: Akorbryn Rylinndar
Age: 259; looks quite young though
Eyes: Light red/deep pink
Hair: Dark white/ silver (Is darker than most drows), falls on her butt and is often partially covering her right eye
Height: 4'3 (Small, even for a drow)
Weight: 78lbs
Skin: Dark gray/light black
Rank: First daughter, house arch mage/sometimes an assassin
Personality: Akorbryn is a very odd dark elf, preferring to keep to herself most of the time. She is easily irritated, but not to hard to get along with. Like most drow, she will appear to hate you at first, maybe even more than most drow normally would, but over time she grows a sort of tolerance for those around her. She often tries to hold back her emotions, not letting them interfere with her work, but often does a bad job of it. More so when she is angry, which seems to happen a lot. When she is studying she prefers to be alone with her work, and is normally pretty calm at this time. When alone, she is given time to clear her mind and relax a bit, therefore making everything around her more tolerable and her herself a bit nicer. But she is not very trusting. All her greatest spells and charms are hidden away from everyone but her. Not even Ulvira knows where they are. She is slightly more trusting of males than females though. Females of the house have a lot of reason to try and kill her and take her rank, males will always have low rank the way she sees it.
Attire: Her clothing changes depending on the situation. In most cases she is seen wearing a black and purple dress that covers her hands; the large sleeves normally carry many different things from potions and charms to daggers and poison. Her formal clothing is only worn when it has to, normally being a light silk dress with a long tail and overly long sleeves. When in battle she prefers very light, easy to move around in clothes. So a lighter dress is her normal choice. Being an assassin as well, her clothing will change quite a bit. When on a job she likes to be able to move quickly and quietly, like any good assassin. A black bustier along with an open skirt is normally her first choice. She likes having places to put things, which is why most all her dresses have large sleeves, so when in her assassin attire, she will normally just result in carrying many charms. She does not like wearing shoes and rarely does.
Accessories: Akorbryn wears a lot of charms. Most are bracelets or small charms attached to bracelets. She often wears a dark purple leather ribbon around her neck that serves no real purpose, it is the small purple gem that hangs on a silver chain that is her prized possession. Nobody but her is sure what exactly this small gem does. She is also probably one of the only drow that wears sunglasses in the underdark (This is explained below)
Weapons: Akorbryn prefers to stay away from the main battle and attack with magic from afar, but she often doesn't get to do that. She uses a small amount of magic with almost all her attacks, so she likes to kill quickly and save magic. She carriers a small, foot and half long sword. Though the weapon is small, it is laced with magic and is quite effective. She carries daggers as well. She has many different staffs, but her favorite is a long staff laced with silver spider webs, with a dark purple orb on the end; holding the orb on is a black and silver spider.
History: Most of Akorbryn's past is a secret (But I'm going to share it with you) After graduating Arach-Tinilith, Akorbryn quickly picked up a love for magic and spells and went to Sorcere. After many hard years of training, she was ready to head home and take her place as first daughter and most likely house mage. But while practicing a spell, she accidentally said the trigger word for a trap and was transported to the surface. Blinded and in pain from the sun, she traveled until she found shade. An elf found her. Not a drow or an Elistraee follower, just a normal elf as far as she could tell. In the shade, her vision was still horribly bad and she was on high guard, prepared to attack.. But didn't. The elf gave her sunglasses, telling her they might help. And they did. Not much, but she could open her eyes all the way and see things a little more clearly.
For some reason she decided to trust the elf for the time being, seeing as she was practically defenseless. Zekirr was his name. For the next few years, Akorbryn was stuck on the surface. She didn't know exactly where she was at let alone how to get home. She didn't have the Goddess' favor there, which almost broke her soul (She was just about to graduate from Sorcere, not having the Goddess' favor to do magic devastated her), but Zekirr knew more than she first thought. When the sun went down he would teach her a different magic, what he was taught. She was unsure of the name, if it had one. She still didn’t fully trust him, a drow never really trusts anyone, but she allowed herself his company. The sunglasses blocking the starlight, she was not only taught magic, but the ways of an assassin as well (And that’s where she learned to be an assassin)
Without Akorbryn knowing, Zekirr had been trying to find her a way home. Though whether it was to get her out of his life or out of affection she doesn't know and now couldn‘t care less. But after several years (About eight or nine), Zekirr came through. He found some kind of teleportation magic and quickly used it to get Akorbryn home. That was the last she saw of Zekirr, and although a part of her wants to see him again she's done her best to block him out.
Once back home, her mother quickly accepted her and her new skills. Though it took about one more year to gain back her goddess' favor because she had been away from it so long.
(Due to so many years near the sun, Akorbryn's hair got darker and her eyes lighter. She also has a slight problem focusing her eyes; it takes her a few minuets longer to be able to see clearly in the dark. That is why she still where’s the sunglasses, it helps her to focus.)
This is of course the past, many, many years ago. Now, Akorbryn is more caught up in her magic. She has become very skilled and normally knows just what to do in an emergency. But at times her anger blinds her.
