I was the first Chobit, created before Elda by Ichiro Mihara, father. I was created to be mom's, Hibiya's, daughter.
After a time, it came to mother's attention that I was becoming more solemn. At this point, she asked father to build a little sister for me, in an attempt to make me happy again. From this request, Elda was created. I was ecstatic to have a little sister, and for a time, my parents thought I was acting normally, although, the look on my face when I was deep in thought troubled mother.
After an incident mother realized that I had fallen in love with father. I knew that he still loved mom, and did not want to disturb their happiness, so I did my best to suppress my feelings. Over time, my agony became so great that I began to malfunction under the strain. I was no longer able to move, and was confined to a bed from that point on. Toward the end, I could not lift a finger or even shift my focus to see. The pain became so unbearable, that I chose to self-terminate, rather than continue to exist. Before I could do this, however, my sister, Elda, offered to take my heart into her own, so that I would not disappear completely, and so that my memories would be preserved.
Now that Elda has become Chii, I do everything I can to ensure that Chii will find the person just for her. I exist as a separate entity within Chii, and I am capable of monitoring Chii's sensory input, and will intervene if Chii is in danger.
