About

Aio Mio is the main female character in Ichikawa Takuji’s novel “いま、会いにゆきます” (“Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu” which roughly translates to “Now, I’m Going to be with You”).
Several adaptations of this novel have been released including:
A movie directed by Doi Nobuhiro and adapted by Okada Yoshikazu. (The movie is slated for a 2009 release in the U.S.)
A one-volume manga written by Iino Yoko and illustrated by Kawashima Sai. (An English-translation was released under the title “Be with You”.)
An eleven-episode TV drama.
And on June 25, 2008, a drama CD was released starring Ishida Akira as Aio Takumi, Hirano Aya as Aio Mio and Ogata Megumi as Aio Yuuji.

The Japanese singer/songwriter ,Arai Man, translated the poem into Japanese and produced the song titled "千の風になって" (“Sen no Kaze ni Natte” which translates into “A Thousand Winds”).
A drama CD was released in Japan on March 24, 2008 with the same title.

I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,

The only connection I can find between "Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu" and "Sen no Kaze ni Natte" is Ishida Akira provided the voice for Aio Takumi and Chris Baker respectively. However, the poem just reminded me so much of Mio. (I'll eventually elaborate.)

I love the book and the movie. Except the outfit out have on your avater is all wrong. Mio wore long skirts with blouses or plain white shirts. Could I send you clothes so you can replicate Mio more?
