well, i'm glad to hear that you're keeping your lips above the waterline. or so it seems.
car problems again? oh no I hope that you get all those car troubles sorted and no more problems for at least two years. I say, 2 yrs bc that's how often I had to repair or replace something when I kept a vehicle for some time. but my pickup alas I have no longer, I sold her about 5 yrs ago or longer. I actually don't drive a lot anymore, at all. I used to miss it, but now i'm okay.

my back is getting better. I knew that lots of inactivity and rest would do the trick and so it has. Still some twinges but overall much better.
I hate to hear that you injured yourself at some point and still occasionally have repercussions from it, although you do seem to know how to take care of yourself like that. The hardest thing to do while aging is to accept the limitations of your body and don't try to lift the heavy stuff like you used to. Back surgery for an injury is out of the question. I've yet to see a single one that worked and gave people the relief they were ultimately seeking. ~~ anyway, lovely to talk to you Yev. as always, heart

I hurt my back trying to move some heavy furniture that only went about an inch, bummer. So do I think i'm superwoman? possibly used to;
i'm taking it easy and yes, I do have some help with stuff like trash removal cooking and laundry. it's remarkable really how much we use muscles and do not even think until we hurt them.
but i'm better now thankfully on the mend.
how have you been doing?

it's good to hear from you and to know that you're alright.
I badly hurt my back about a week ago and now it seems to be worse rather than better, i've even thought of hospitalization but
I know there's nothing they can do to help it besides wait on me hand and foot, which frankly sounds pretty darned good at this point, whenever thing I do hurts so much.

Well, tbh, Yev, you aren't here very much anymore. I know bc I look for you everyday.
If you buy the flairs for real money and then sell in the market, you've exchanged real cold cash for pixel money.. I don't like the concept. partly bc I could get banned at any time for any reason and lose everything. The only way I get real cash on Gaia (bc I don't do the surveys and such) is to click on the announcements on the front page and some will give you a penny. I only get about 3 to 6 cents a day but it adds up. if I really want to, I'll use my card to buy some gaia cash but generally I don't.

to answer your question first off, I don't buy a lot anymore. I don't like a cluttered invo. And if there appears something I do want, I use platinum to buy it. Or not..
i'm not even sure what the daily chance did. As for posting a lot, no, I don't post a lot, usually once a day to get the plat it gives is about enough for me. And i'd like to
ask you a question -- how does having flairs generate cash for you? Or am I misunderstanding what you mean?

aw, I'm sorry about that for you, Yev. But you can never tell, they may yet put the daily chance back in, at least Lanzer seems to listen to the concerns of Gaians and make adjustments whenever he can. It may take awhile but several ppl have reported dissatisfaction with that same issue. Personally, I didn't use daily chance so i'm unsure what to say to help or comfort you.

yes, when Lanzer did the new upgrade, he got rid of several old features; some are not good, like you mentioned.
but you can still earn platinum by posting I foruns, voting in polls, and posting on profiles and in journals.
