ooooof i feel you on the layering items! i had to play around w/ mine a lot just to make sure some items didn't move/overshadow other items :'( but again, yours came out sooo cute!

and omfg tysm emotion_kirakira it took me a bit to play around and settle on something and then i lowkey kinda gave up lmfaooo

i think the appeal is that it looks complex yet also still somewhat simple? and it's cohesive! i don't think you need to add anything else + the color scheme is so cuuute
