"Extremist conservative" is a contradiction in terms. By definition, a conservative is a person who tends NOT take extreme positions. While in this country, it has come to describe someone with a right-wing ideaology, this by no means that I am extreme in general, nor would I surmise that being extreme makes one wrong. The simple fact that the majority of people are wrong on a given issue does not make them any more right. Murder is still murder, even if it is 5 people killing one person. You cannot claim to represent the greater good if you would take away the most basic and sacred right: The right to a personal set of convictions, no matter how extreme. Since you are quoting Aristotle, who believed in appearances and instructed others never to question them, I will quote Ayn Rand, originator of the Objectivist Philosophy:

1.) "Observe, in politics, that the term extremism has become a synonym of "evil," regardless of the content of the issue (the evil is not what you are extreme about, but that you are "extreme" -- i.e., consistent). "

2.) "Rationality is the recognition of the fact that nothing can alter the truth and nothing can take precedence over that act of perceiving it."

Amusing. An extremist conservative. I laud your audacity in this predominantly liberal society we live in, but I also have a few words of advice. The greeks spent far too much time thinking about things, and far too little acting on them, but they did have a few good ideas. Here's the one I think you might want to ponder...

"If a man finds that his nature tends or is disposed to one of these extremes, he should turn back and improve, so as to walk in the way of good people, which is the right way. The right way is the mean in each group of dispositions common to humanity; namely, that disposition whch is equally distant from the two extremes in its class, not being nearer to the one than to the other."

Good day.

I must decline. I am not what you are looking for. If I was in your guild, it'd be likely I'd be banned within my first ten posts because of my own political stance.
