Its one thing to live. Its another to live but never really be there.
What, you ask, is wrong with me? When my life is a perfect haven?
It's something not even he can understand. Its a thirst that while never really there, is never gone either.
It gets hard, without my lifeline to that world around, to think that I'm anything but normal. But I'm not. I haven't been for years. I know this, yet, that side is becoming repressed.
She can't surface anymore. I think I've lost the ability to even growl. Blood doesn't find a thrist anymore; that is taken by his kisses.
But I don't want that. I need her to live fully. To live fully as a creature who stalks the night.
There is one aspect that hasn't changed, no matter how long my lifeline is gone: the night rules me. I find 10pm too early for sleep. Midnight is much better. But daily life gets demanding and sleep becomes nessisary. So I sleep....
She is sleeping and slowly drowning in the face of the noonday sun.
I need a walk in the midnight sun... Come with me, o'humble one?
