This little stuffed animal is Kero-chan, but he doesn't like that name. Keroberos is his full name. Kero is a cute little combination of a lion and bear kinda stuffed guy; he represents the Guardian Beast of the Seal and rules the Sun. He is to protect the Clow Cards and become the Cardcaptor's valued mentor and teacher. While taking a nap, he accidently let the Clow Cards loose when Sakura broke the seal. Since Sakura was the one who had the power to unlock the book and scatter the cards, Kero appointed Sakura as the Cardcaptor. Now Kero aids Sakura in capturing all of the Cards.
Kero is usually very happy and a very supportive friend. Anytime Sakura feels that she is not good enough, Kero is always there to cheer her up and encourage her. He can be funny at times and pretty full of himself. Kero likes to watch the videos Tomoyo make of him. When it comes to filming, he isn't shy about taking the spotlight. However when it comes down to protecting Sakura, he's her #1 guy. Kero would do anything for her.
Somewhere along the series, someone mentions that Kero has an Osaka dialect. Since Osaka is in the north, we can conclude that Kero has a northern accent. This is confirmed by Kero himself during the first movie when the group heads to Hong Kong for a summer trip. However, where he is originally from is unknown. It could possibly be Hong Kong since that is where Clow Reed is from.
