My name is Mizuiro. I have no last name, not really. For that, I would have to have a family. Sayo Kaerizaki is an alias I was given by the man who was responsible for my "upbringing".
He is Dr. Kaerizaki, the former head of a human behavioral conditioning project funded by Yurojin Industries, and I used to be one of his subjects. A few years ago, some of the others like me began to have mental breakdowns and turned on the research team. They used the rest of us to hunt them down. Then there was a suspicious fire and the doctor took me and fled the facility.
He suppressed my memories and, for a time, I lived with him as though I was his normal daughter. Little did I know, while on the run from Yurojin, he continued his experiments with me, trying to use emotion to combat the instability caused by our conditioning.
But my memories came back through dreams and I met up with my old rival, Shiro, a product of Kaerizaki's project like me. He slipped the leash Yurojin had on him and saved myself and the doctor from assassination.
We went into hiding and I was contacted by Kuro, another one of us who was transfered from our division early on in the project. He tried to get me to return to Yurojin and when I refused, used the doctor to betray me.
I was rescued by Shiro and together we implemented a plan that persuaded Yurojin to give up on us for now. However Kuro, and presumably Dr. Kaerizaki as well, continue to hound us for their own reasons.
