About
Nimue [Nim-yew]: In Arthurian legend, the Lady of the Lake. She's said to have guarded Excalibur until Arthur became king, raised Lancelot, and imprisoned Merlin in a hollow tree, thus bringing about the beginning of the end for Camelot.
Ailinen [Ay-lin-en]: Means "of the Lake" in Tolkien's Quenya.
Nimue Ailinen Nim-yew Ay-lin-en]: The online incarnation of a California teenager; tends to be annoying, sarcastic, and, on occasion, more than a little bitchy. She appreciates literacy, writing, intelligent roleplay, Firefly, J.R.R. Tolkien, Star Wars, mythology, and Gaia most of the time. She doesn't care for idiots, n00bs, illiteracy, "u" as a substitute for "you", bigots, and general intolerance. Can most often be found in the LOTR subforum or the Writers forum, lurking in the shadows. (See also:

The fairies have never a penny to spend,
They haven't a thing put by,
But theirs is the dower of bird and flower
And theirs is the earth and sky.
And though you should live in a palace of gold
Or sleep in a dried up ditch,
You could never be as poor as the fairies are,
And never as rich.
Since ever and ever the world began
They danced like a ribbon of flame,
They have sung their song through the centuries long
And yet it is never the same.
And though you be foolish or though you be wise,
With hair of silver or gold,
You can never be as young as the fairies are,
And never as old.
