The name's Stefanie. I used to be Yunara, and then Scourge of the Skittles! Now I'm Butterfly Nebula. Yes, I'm an astronomy dork. I think that Butterfly Nebulas are extremely beautiful, and have sort of an unearthly beauty to them. Well, heh, of course they do. xD
I'm a rather eclectic person, but overall, you could say my tastes are somewhat geeky.
I'm OBSESSED with Firefly. I love it. You could probably tell from my profile. Heh. Anyways. I really, really, REALLY love it. My sister introduced me to it. She showed me Serenity, then she borrowed Firefly from her boyfriend and showed it to me. Unfortunately, I didn't start liking it until she had to give it back. It's currently at his grandpa's house, so I can't borrow it. It's driving me crazy. I'm going through withdrawal. I've rented Serenity MANY times, to the point where I can now recite the lines flawlessly, but it's just not the same. ;-; I'm asking for it for Christmas. If I don't get it... I will be so sad.
I also really like V for Vendetta right now. Heh. Love it. I watched it for the first time in the summer while I was visiting my Dad, and ever since, I've been hooked. I've borrowed the graphic novel from the local library (I just finished it today, actually - quite good, I suggest you check it out). I participated in this year's Guy Fawkes Day celebrations on Gaia. I've painted an advertisement for the series for an Art project (and got 82% on it). I have V as my desktop. Yes, you could say I'm obsessed.
I'm currently a high school student. Augh. School isn't my friend. Well, we get along alright, but I secretly hate them. >< In other words, I get good grades, but I hate going.
As far as friends go... Well, I'm friends with a lot of people, but I don't... trust them. xDDD No, wait, hear me out. Trust is a big thing to me, and unless someone shows me that I can be open with and trust them, then I'm not going to be. There's only a handful of people who I truly trust.
As far as ONLINE friends go... I'm just not interested most of the time. I'm sure you're a great person, but chances are, I'm gonna say no.
