Basic background story: In my original life I was killed while protecting my 7 year old daughter. By the power of an unknown force, I was revived in the form of a canine creature. Over the years I have discovered that as a beast I still retained human speech and that I had gained the ability to shape-shift. This shape shifting ability has allowed me to return to human form, but I feel I can never return to my old life and have started a new. I still secretly watch over my daughter as she grows into a young woman.
