Race: tiefling

Alignment: chaotic good
Description: This tiefling weapon master is first encountered in the rebel drow encampment of Lith My'athar. Initially distrustful of the stranger appearing out of nowhere, Valen nevertheless makes his services available to the player character (PC).
Background: Valen grew up in Sigil. His mother worked for a demoness but was killed by her for doing poor work as a result of being ill one month. Valen was then a thief, picked up by a devil called Grimash't. After some time in the Abyss, Valen met the Seer and was changed by just a glance from her. When they could finally speak, she taught him that he could be human. After this, he vowed to protect the Seer. Grimash't, of course, followed him, but Valen killed him.
Valen had at one time fallen in love with a slave who was killed in front of him when his feelings were discovered by Grimash't.
Romance: Female PCs can pursue a relationship with Valen if they flirt with him and get him to talk about his past. If the romance is fulfilled successfully, Valen will admit his love to the PC, and he will remain loyal when tempted with the chance to release his demonic taint. In addition, he will be the PC's one true love, as revealed by the Knower of Names.
IMPORTANT
Oeskathine the Demonwrestler
This is his true name, however, unless you find it out somehow in any RP that Valen partakes in, you are not allowed to use it. Even someone who has 'played' NWN: HoTU has to find out the name IC through the RP. This part should seem obvious but the point will be made regardless.
Valen may/may not know his own true name, this is being tossed around in the mind of the person playing him. Probably not, as compulsion magic exists. 8(

Maya placed her hands on her hips and nodded proudly, ignoring her stomach that was now rumbling a little at the thought of her favorite food so perfectly prepared.
"Of course it is! The fact that all of those things are together, in one place, make it so delicious! It's like a circus of flavor in your mouth! Oooh, my mouth is watering at the thought!"
"A burger is possibly one of the GREATEST inventions man has ever know! How can you not know what it is?!" Hand gestures accompanied her explanation. "You take beef, and then squish it into a circular patty like this, then you season it with delicious spices and slap it onto a grill.. Or a griddle or pan. Which ever you prefer. Then, after it becomes a delicious dark brown, you take it off with a spatula and set it on a bun. Sesame seed bun, preferably. Everyone knows that that's the best! Then, you take cheese; to your preference, lettuce; whole leaves, tomatoes; one will usually do it, and then pickles; not the length wise cut ones. The special burger-slice pickles. Then, you can add extra things like mustard, mayo, ketchup, bacon, blue cheese, chipolte barbecue sauce, pepper, eggs--" She took a deep breath, then continued on with a long list of items.
"I still have some of the money I took from Nick's wallet earlier today. I'll buy you one! It's like a CRIME for someone to have never had one before!"
