Okay Kurama is about the ONLY guy I can see Yusuke getting with if Yusuke swung that way... I mean, Kuwabara is out of the question... he flips out if anyone even mentions a guy liking another guy and for the life of me I am sorry, but I really can't get into Yusuke and Hiei being together.
Now as for WHY I like Kurama and no one else with Yusuke... well it's simply because there are "hints." Now they are not the kind of hints that actually pin Yusuke and Kurama being together, they're another kind of hint... Now it might only be me... but there's one thing I've noticed. When Yusuke's not fighting for Keiko... he's fighting for Kurama... Two prime moments always stick in my head for this example. The first being that Yusuke was willing to sacrifice his life so that Kurama and his mother could live... Granted that was more for Kurama's mom then for Kurama... but still, he was willing to DIE for the boy. The second being his willingness to sacrifice the entire Dark Tournament for Kurama. Remember the incident with Bakken anyone?
"Bakken, lay him outside of the ring," ~Rissho
"But why Rissho?" ~Bakken
"Just lay him outside of the ring,"~Rissho
"But he's killed our sect members!" ~Bakken
"Yes, and if you had landed that punch you would have died too... or do you think you could have survived a bullet in the back?"~Rissho
Pan to Yusuke, spirit guin at the ready and aimed, Bakken looking nervous.
"It is obvious that, that boy's life means more to that boy than this tournament, lay him outside of the ring," ~Rissho
There might be more... but I am at a loss to remember them right now... Anyway, yeah, that's pretty much why I like Yusuke with Kurama if he has to be with a guy. I just see a real bond there... It's just the one that makes the most sense and is the sweetest to me >> <<.

Hints?
Well little emotions do hint into a lot of general directions, so I'm guessing you chosen love.
Well, it could happen, Yusuke is a perv, and well he seems like the type to think Kurama as a girl.
So I'm neutral to this pairing.
Well usually neutral to everything.
its just that I never, think of hints when it comes to love, especially for fictional stuff I do not, care for to even have worth fighting over, like most girls, just have to prove that something is right. sweatdrop
in my opinion, if I'm allowed to have one. xD; I rather do like HieixYusuke whether if its possible or not, and if I was to ever go into "hints", then I would say Hiei just might want to get into Yusuke, seeing how they can relate to eachother.
Well yeah that is my reply for now, so no bashing anyone, this is my opinion, and the fourth paragraph is my strong feelings >,>

I don't take that from people. For me though, I do need at least a small hint or so... It's just how I work... Personanally I know that Hiei is fascinated by Yusuke's strength, but... I could never see him submitting to Yusuke, and subsiquently I could never see Yusuke submitting to him. With Kurama, there are not only hints that my mind grasps but I could acutally see them being able to share equaly were a relationship ever to blossom... Anyway, for now I just want to keep opinions on Kurama and Yusuke... because there's already a thread for Hiei and Yusuke... and it's painfully obvious EVERYONE just preffers that pairing -_- *Feels all lonely now.*

Sorry, I'm not narrowed.
All i said is that I liked HieixYusuke. and no Not everyone likes that pairing, that much I'm sure of.
I guess, I'm a pretty boring person, because I do not look for hints, sometimes I'm more based on facts.
I just had a bad experience with people goin "OMG KuraxHiei its so real, here are the hints!"
And from that point, I hated the sense of hints, because well, I wasn't sure if fans were serious on it, or just thought of it, like something that they liked.

I'm not so big on lookin' for hints either, I just kinda call it as I see it. XD Annoys my sister to no end sometimes. But yeah, I just like Kurama/Yusuke because.....well.....because I do! I dun really have a reason for it, nor do I really remember how I got into it given the fact I never liked any shoen-ai parring before then. It grew on me I suppose. I do like Hiei/Yusuke, but Kurama/Yusuke is still first for me.
To me, they sort of balance each other out. Yusuke is brash and loud while Kurama is more sophisticated and quiet. Yusuke can get Kurama to let loose once in a while and Kurama gets Yusuke to settle down when he's being too rowdey.
Wow...that sounds like my friend and me. She pulls me up and I pull her down, it's balance. XD
But yeah, that's just my view on it. ^_^

I don't like Kurama in general. Which is why I don't pair him with anyone in particular. xD Of course, me being a very, very, very biased OTP fangirl, that's just the way I roll.
As far as hints go, I could find at least one hint for any couple in yyh. Seriously, the easiest would be for KuraxHi, KurxBo, KurxYusuke, KuwaxYus, and duh, YusxHi. Especially YxH since I specialize in them and know all their scenes together.
Personally, I've decided the whole team's just gay for each other.

I am going to go off topic for a moment here just because I have to rant a little...
I am sorry but... I can't see Kuwabara with ANY of the guys.... EVER. It's never going to happen... he has to be the most heterosexual guy I have ever seen... He freaks the hell out when he has that dream about having to kiss Yusuke and he freaks the hell out when Itsuki says he wanted to be lovers with Sensui... Well he doesn't acutally flip, he just insists that his ears are too young for the topic and gets really uncomfortable... and he's never done that with any other discussion on love or lovers... So... No, just NO... -_-
Anyway, back to the Kurama/Yusuke discussions again sweatdrop

Its funny, how they made parodies on Kuwa obsessiveness for being not gay.
its like most guys who keep blurting it out, probably has some compensating.
But thats just me.
Tijiya, yeah hints or not my thing. I guess that is my ending story. Because then, personally, or deeply, if someone made 'accusations' or take me for a hint, I'd get on edge, so some people, could guess why hints are really my thing.
Same as:
"Oh wow Seri doesn't like Hoshi there are hints! Look se here: Insert random stuff."
and yeah, thats basically, why personally I don't like hints in anything, to me, its either factual, or as it comes, like claiming! Yeah.
And for one thing, I do love Hoshi very much <3

ike I said, I am the odd one out here since everyone hates hints. I just can't throw two characters with nothing to base the relationship on, I just can't I'm sorry. Hints are just my little way of justifying what I am trying to do. And I NEVER EVER push hints on anyone else. I have never forced(or tried to force) someone into liking a certain pairing based on hints... because well not everyone sees a hint the same way. You can argue them and it's all matter of oppinion really. Anyway, that's just how I see things... and why I like Yusuke and Kurama more then anyone else with Yusuke, besides Keiko, just because I see something in it.

Saying something is "obvious," like hints for instance, gets on my nerves a little. I used to do it but I try not to as much anymore. Esentially for the reason that what is "obvious" to one person, is not "obvious" to the next. Hints in general are subtle things that vary from person to person, so none of them are ever really "obvious"... I mean if they were, then the relationship would be cannon and not just fan-dreamed, get what I am saying? I hope so because I am not sure I make sense anymore ^^;
I just find it amazing that Yusuke seems to want to stick up for Kurama most amongst the guys... I mean c'mon, he was ready to die for the boy too, granted that was still an "act first think later" situation, and really to most people means nothing... However watching the entire series I, and this is just ME, have come to see that point as something that tied those two boys together, they have a connection now because of it and I think Yusuke and Kurama feel closer to one another than any of the other guys. I mean we could all argue that Yusuke and Kuwabara are closer, but it's just not the same because they are rivals... and it's not the same kind of "close" that Hiei and Yusuke share simply because Hiei's main goal is to fight Yusuke again... Really the only person that has a stronger tie to Yusuke is Keiko...
And so to repeat myself again... just because I do that... This is why I like Kurama and Yusuke together, I just SEE something there, I don't expect others too, but I just do so I have come to appreciate well written fanfics about them and fan art and such... Even though, I myself have not done any yet confused I should rectify that soon...

I can honestly say that while I try to pair based on compatability, I do like seeing a little something. Like, it's one thing for Yu-chan to throw everything for Kurama during the tournament, but how many friends would actually carry a friend to safety? Not many.
And yes, Captain-chan, they are all in love with each other. I see it that way myself. heart
