Well this sub-forum seems a bit dry so how about people sharing there experiences in a mosh-pit.

Alright, I was at a battle of the bands last year with a bunch of my friends when this massive beast of a man with a studded leather jacket and two foot tall green liberty spikes steps onto the floor.
As always, the song starts off slow and catches up. First moshing of the song has maybe twenty people involved including this beast. Instead of banging people around, he's throwing them to the ground. One of the people thrown down was my friend, so he wants revenge. Two of my friends alongside myself, knock him down when the music starts back up. He breaks his wrist or something.
I feel bad, so I wait with him until his parents (this is 11th grade at the time) come to pick him up and I end up making sure they'll take him to a hospital.
I thought that was a rad experience, breaking the wrist of a guy twice my size.
There was also a mosh pit at the System of a Down concert, but I went nowhere near it. No getting stabbed for me.

I love to mosh.. I think you need to go in a mosh pit at least once every consert you go too.. I moshed at:
Godsmack, and Rob Zombie
Cradle of Filth(most of the time XD)
Ozzfest(A hell of a ******** lot!!(and I went twice! XD))
and every other little random concert I went to(those where just the main ones).

I was at a Lamb Of God concert and I was moshing the whole time, also I was in the wall of death. If you do not know what the wall of death is look it up it is freaking insane the crowd parts and stands 5 meters apart the song breaks from the intro and every one charges.
