Taliesin Name: Taliesin Goes by: Taliesin, or Tali to close friends Age: He wont say. Gender: Male Personality: Reserved, quiet, and seemingly shy, he's a mystery to those who meet him. Beyond that, when he opens up at all, he's friendly and kind. Likes: People who respect privacy, music, and poetry. Dislikes: Boasters, liars, nosy folk, those with no art in their souls. Birthdate: As with his age, he wont say. Starsign: He says he's a Draco, which isn't a sign at all. Height: 6' Weight: Good question, but he's willowy. Physical Description: Taliesin has forest green eyes, and long sable hair. His skin is pale, and he has a willowy, somewhat effete figure. His face is heart shaped, and his eyes are large. His lips are full, and slightly pouty, and his nose is aquiline. He wears long, flowy robes in deep greens, blues and purples most of the time, but when he feels he must try to fit in, he wears black pants with long sleeve, flowy shirts in the same colors as his robes. Blood Type: O History: Nothing is known of him from before he arrived here, and bonded with his orb. All that is known is that he protects the Orb zealously, and clearly cares for it.

Home Taliesin's home is a humble cottage near the woods. Or at least it's humble on the outside. Inside, there are stairs up to a loft, which holds a small bedroom for guests. The first floor has three rooms, the kitchen, Muiran's bedroom, and a living/dining room. And of course, a restroom. A door off the later leads down, into a large basement area. There are two rooms, plus a restroom. The first room is a library/sitting room/music room. Beyond that is Taliesin's bedroom, to which no one is invited. Currently, Muiran's bedroom is undecorated, he keeps her with him at all times, for now.

Taliesin was walking in the woods outside his home, gently carrying the Orb form of Muiran, singing softly. He was singing a gentle Irish Lullaby to Muiran, as he wanted her un-formed spirit to rest peacfully. "October winds lament Around the castle of Dromore Yet peace is in her lofty halls, My loving treasure store Though autumn leaves may droop and die, A bud of spring are you" He continues, singing Castle Dromore to her, rocking her a little. He was eager for his sweet one to grow, but he knew to care for her in the meantime.

While Taliesin walked with his little orb, cared for it, loved it, he would also spend time sitting with it, watching it, studying it. Often he would gaze deep within the lovely thing, trying to see what it contained. Mostly, at first, it was the mists. On occasion, it was more. He liked to thing it was Muiran, trying to talk to him before she had emerged. On this occasion, Taliesin had had a lovely meal and a nice cup of tea. He sat down to read, but found himself gazing into the orb instead. He stared deeply into it, his eyes looking into the mists. At first, all he could see was the whites and purples, and the symbol in the center. But then, they seemed to draw him deeper, and he found he was watching himself. There was some one with him, female, but he could not get a good view of her. He was the center. He was... singing and playing, on a stage? How odd, he had not desired such in years... But there he was, and the audience, they were clearly enraptured, watching him and enjoying this. He began to hear the sounds of his music, and could tell the song was coming to an end. It finished just as he was able to hear fully, and what the dream ended with was him, standing, the sounds of tumultuous applause and cheers filling his ears. He came out of the trance he had fallen into with a start, and studied the orb, then looked at the time. 2 hours? 2 hours had passed! He needed to get to bed, and so did Muiran, for he was sure she needed rest too, after that.

Taleisin had, after the last dream, found himself unable to sing or gaze into Muiran's orb. He didn't want to be drawn into a dream like that again, and he'd given up performing, how could he let himself get lost into her again? No, twas better to care for her and himself, but to remain free of the flights of fancy she had given him. And to sing, the once he had done so after, he found the old cravings for attention, applause, performance hitting him. This was unacceptable! He was living in a quiet seclusion for a reason, he wanted peace! Not to call the attention of folk to him again. After all, he might attract the attention of a Greater Sidhe or something. He'd earned his rest, he was sure of it. Besides, no one needed the great bards anymore, he was better of here, rather then going and finding out he was a fool for hoping to be more. After all these thoughts, and more, he turned to Muiran's orb. "I am not going to be tempted, I am sure of it, my little one! Ha!" And he turns away, staring out the window. He begins to absent mindedly sing... and drifts off into dreams of audiences.

Taleisin, at this point, had gone into a serious hermit mode. "No! No tempting me! I gave that up years ago! I am no performer now, you are my charge and that is all I need!" He polished Muiran's orb, and set it in a basket lined with velvet cloths to protect it, and then set it gently on a shelf. He then looked around, and noticed the place had gotten severely dusty in his fights with his temptations and his day dreams. He frowned, and immediately gets out the broom, the rags, and more. He went on a serious cleaning frenzy, getting the dust off the shelves and tables, and sweeping it out the door. He then went to the dishes and washed everyone, his eyes furious at himself for letting everything go for so long. "Not another day dream! Not a one! Not when it gets me so lost that I let my home turn into such a horrid mess!" He finishes up and frowns, looking around. "Better. Much. But I have GOT to do something about these dreams before I give in and do something foolish, like leave, or not clean again. This is unacceptable. DO YOU HEAR ME MUIRAN? Unacceptable!"

Taleisin hadn't taken Muiran's orb out of her basket in days, other then to polish it. He had cleaned, over and over and over. "I will keep this place spotless. I will not give in to the desires I am tempted by..." After a while, he was exhausted, and he went to shower himself clean of the scents of the cleaners he used. When he emerged, he wrapped himself in a loose robe, and pondered, then went to get Muiran's orb down. He held it gently. "Muiran... I just can't be giving in to such dreams. I will no longer perform and your temptations caused me to neglect my home..." He carried her in her basket to his room, and lay down in his bed. He is silent for a long minute, then he resumes. "I want us both to be happy, my spirit, but I don't know how I can do that without giving in to the things I swore years ago I was finished with..." He sighs, slowly falling asleep, from exhaustion, and not realizing it.
