Name: Nemera Age: 16 but looks younger Birthday: Height: Shorter than she'd like Weight: A lady never tells Hair color: Light greyish brown Eye color: greyish blue Likes: Cats, naps in the warm afternoon sun Dislikes: Dogs Personality: Nemera is usually very quiet and even when she is bursting inside with energy and joy she will only show it with a gentle smile. She will protect anything that needs protecting even dogs though she doesn't like them very much. She looks out for her friends especially who she thinks needs protection the most because she is so innocent though the other girl is a few months older than her.She seems soft spoken but when something needs to get done she will make sure it is done no matter how many people she needs to have help her. Hobbies: Taking care of any stray cats she finds Background: Both of her parents died in a car crash. It was early morning and they were very tired trying to get home and couldn't see in the fog coming fromm the ocean and drove right off the cliff into the harbor. She was sent to an orphanage until her parent' wills were sorted out and then returned to her home. As the only child she inherited everything and she convinced the court that she was old enough, mature enough and most importantly responsible enough to live on her own. She found Aramis's orb shortly there after rolling around in a litter of kittens and took him and the kittens home to care for.

This is a part of the house that was added after the main house was built which is why it doesn't match the main house at all. Just out of sight is the harbor.

Nemera smiled at the kittens that rested in her lap as she cleaned each on. Their mother gazed anxiously up at her, her two front paws braced against Nemera’s leg. She meowed up at her and Nemera’s smile widened. “They are beautiful aren’t they, and all of them are perfectly healthy.” She assured the mother cat. She gently placed the newborns into the mother’s little bed and then watched as the cat curled around her kittens. In another room one of her male cats meowed to get her attention. She peaked put the window to see what had gotten his attention and then raced to the door. “Aramis!” She cheered throwing it open to let him in. “Good morning, Nemera!” Aramis wrapped one arm around her waist and spun her around. Then he set her down with a quick peck on her forehead and looked around the room. “How have things been going here?” He asked as he made his way to his room to put away his bag and rest his feet from the long walk up to her house. “Cookie had kittens!” she said happily, glad that it was done. As they passed the room in which the kittens slept she glanced through the door opening. “O, Cookie, you wound me. And here I thought we were to be faithful to each other.” Aramis feigned heart break and stooped down to get a better look at the sleeping newborns. Nemera covered her mouth to hide her laugh but continued to gaze at them with twinkling eyes. Aramis smiled at her from above the family of cat. “I’ve only been here a few moments and already I’ve gotten you to smile!” he ruffled her hair as he strolled past her and continued on to his room. Nemera rushed off to warm him milk and something to eat, while she was gone he took time to familiarize himself with his room. “It’s been so long since I’ve been here.” He mumbled to himself running his fingers over his dresser. He climbed up into his bed and stretched out with a sigh. “Much too long.” He mused. He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds around him. He could hear Nemera moving around in the kitchen and the kittens meowing in the other room, outside he could just make out the sounds of the night animals hunting. But there was something else moving around out there as well. He jumped lightly from his bed and moved towards the door, just as he reached for the front door the door bell rang. In the kitchen Nemera dropped the two pans she was holding, Aramis knew night visitors bothered her, it had been a night visitor that had told her the fate of her father. Frowning Aramis opened the door and gazed at the boy with disinterest of a cat and asked him what he wanted. Nemera came up beside him knowing he did not take well to strangers and then seeing it was just a small boy smiled at him in an attempt to show him that they meant no harm. “I’m selling chocolate for my school and I wanted to know if you would like any.” The boy said timidly. Nemera opened a small pouch of money that she kept hidden by the door and knelt down so she was eye level with the boy. By the gate she could see his mother waiting for him to return and so she looked into the ox of chocolate he held. “How much?” she asked him trying to decide which one she wanted. The boy's face immediately lit up and he rushed to tell what kinds there were and the prices. She bought three chocolates and waved to the boy and his mother as they left to return home since she had been their last stop. “Such a softy.” Aramis joked rubbing her hair. He was much more relaxed now that the strangers were gone and went into the kitchen to eat his meal before taking a nap. Later he would be wide awake and exploring the streets of their harbor town but for now he just wanted to eat and sleep. Nemera was happy to let him as she had had a rough day herself. Arching her back she stretched, checked the kittens one last time and then waved good night to Aramis and climbed into her own bed for the night.

Nemera glanced out the window, above the beach city next to theirs a storm raged. The harbor below them though seemed calm, the ships swayed slightly but otherwise there was no harm done. Turning away from the scene outside, she barely stifled a laugh at the scene inside. Aramis sat on the bed surrounded by all of the cats from the surrounding area that had not been let into their homes by their owners. “What?” Aramis demanded crossing his arms. When Nemera did not answer he pretended he had not asked and snuggled deeper into his blankets. He tried to play it cool but she could see his hair standing on end from the storm. Nemera crossed the room to the door and with one last look at Aramis switched off the light and stepped into the hall followed by half of the cats. Once in her room Nemera stopped in front of the picture of her parents. “Thank you for bringing him home safely.” She told them. Two more nights out and the ship would have been hit by the storm. She climbed in bed and snuggled down between the cats soon falling into a deep sleep. The next morning they were in the harbor looking over the ship to make sure it was okay. With a wave to the captain they made their way back through the shops in the harbor. When they ran into Darius and Marissa later that morning Aramis assured them the ship was fine. “I would like to check myself.” Darius said smiling brightly at them as he started towards where the ship was docked. Aramis shook his head but he understood how Darius felt, he had been worried too. “Come on.” He told Nemera and with a hand on her back he led her to the nearby ice cream shop. Aramis and Nemera spent the whole say exploring the harbor shops and admiring the sail boats and yachts that were docked there. It was not until evening that they attempted the stairs that led to the top of the cliff. When they finally made it to their home they dumped their bags in the living room to be sorted later and Nemera made them their dinner. Aramis rested on the couch closing his eyes for a moment. “That was a nice break.” He whispered to himself.
