Everyone knows that wars rage all around us…

Everyday, never seen…

There are the wars within the people we meet…

The wars behind closed doors we pass….

Wars that we hear of on the news or the radio…. And of course, wars of the spirit realm…

Then there are the wars… of the darkness….

There are some of us that live amongst the clueless humans. The ones that eat, drink, work, even live with those that would hunt our kind. We are more human than our ancestors, less human than our fellow men. They don’t know… they couldn’t.

We are those that live off of life. The Day Demons. The vampires that have adapted to live above ground. We are few and far between, and hated by those still forced to live underground. The nightwalkers that feed on humans mercilessly and hunt my kind out of jealousy. They are not all evil, as my kind are not all saints, but our two sides have fought longer than anyone can remember.

But now there is a new fight to be fought and won. One too many humans have been slain, and one of my own kin has been killed by humans demanding blood. Not only do the Day Demons blame the Nightwalkers for this loss, but we are now realizing that we must work with them….


I am sick of their humanity! Such lofty beast are those damned Day Demons, I’d like to see them burn.
Now our leaders have said that we have been careless and the humans are on our trail. Instead of killing those sissy bastards we must work side by side with them as if they were our equal….

**All Gaian rules apply as well as any rules I or my comrade may add. He knows who he is… and if you don’t know you are he… you aren’t.

1) The Most important rule is that you CHECK THE FIRST PAGE OFTEN. I plan on posting updates and announcements here and as rules are subject to change and/or expansion… Check it.
You Have No Reason To Not Know What Is Going On… I may or may not remind you…

2) Romance is fine. Cybering is not. Remember that this thread is not about romance. The Day Demons are much more romantic than the Night walkers are… take that into consideration…

3) Violence is fine. Godmoding is not. Killing off your own character is fine… Give I or my comrade warning and it would be nice to give everyone else warning as well… If you have secret plans that you want no one to know of till the moment it happens, Fine. I have no problems with that… but I or my comrade should know…

Killing off other peoples characters must be okayed with that person and they must give The Master and Mistress of this thread warning as stated above.

4) Trust us. We are lenient and kind…. Most of the time….

5) Keep long, unannounced absences to a minimum… We are forgiving, so no worries if things come up. And if you have a good excuse… we will never know if you are lieing…

6) Keep as much OOC in the OOC thread as possable. Only short statmens or anouncements of your leaving. If you are confused about what just happened, put this:

Bio: I tried to run from the war. Pretend it wasn’t there, but when the friend of mine was “Caught” preying on a human and killed for it, I was ready go slaughter everyone of those damned Night Beasts. I went to the oldest Day Demon and he told those of us gathered that we would have to join forces with them.
He’s right… no matter how much I wish he were wrong…

Role: Archetecture and restoration. She works alot with the old buildings with in the area, some have many surprising secrets to reveal.
Appearance: (She wears dentures to cover her fangs since they can not retract)
Bio: My parents died when I was very young. I was 9 when someone broke into the house and killed them along with my older brother. I was attacked too, but I didn't die like they did. A friend of my dad came to our house when he didn't show up for work, he found me passed out on the living room floor. My family had died in their sleep with puncture wounds in their necks. Mine didn't go deep enough to kill me. All I remember is alot of pain through my entire body. I was like that for three weeks before I woke up in a strange house. I had been taken to the hospital but when my fangs started to grow one of the doctors got nervous and took me home with him. He told me he was a vampire and that now I was too. My family was dead but he would take care of me. The people that lived with him were stange, and there was always some sort of party at night.
I graduated high school two years early, and went to university were I got my degree in achitecture and design. Now I work with a small company in restoration. I'm still abit nervous around my family though. they don't tell me much about the vampire world. I always thought that Vampires could only walk at night, but I'm able to walk in the sunlight like a normal human. Now that I think about it, my family always was more active at night than in the day... actually they never left the house until night fall.

Role: Man for hire. My loyalty lasts as long as and not exceeding dates dictated in the contract. I have yet to miss a single hit. DO NOT CROSS ME.

Bio: Do forgive me if I waste no time with meaningless prattle. I am a very busy man and have little time to while away hours with idle chatter. I am a Day Demon by birth and an assasin by choice. I lead a life of luxurious simplicity without family scruples or loyalty to complicate matters. I am as respected as I am feared and have been known to possess a rather...destructive temper. I am open to a bit of double dealing if the price is right, but such is the way of the world.
I offer my sincere apologies to those clients that have suffered my blade mere hours after our contract has lapsed. Saylavee my friend. Saylavee.

Bio: I fight for my Mistress and Master… and also for me. The underground was in blessed disarray, that is untill the resent announcement that we must work with those above ground... I despise those Day Demons and their petty excuse for existence.

Role: She is small and fast, adept at getting into and out of tight situations, making her the Ideal spy for the Nightwalkers.
Appearance:
Bio: I was always taught to hate the Day Demons. I learned myself to hate humans. I want to help in the war and am way tired of people telling me that i a too small. I can fight and well. I haven't lost yet. It doesn't matter if they say i can't go anymore. I'll probably go anyway. Nobody is holding me back.

Role: I am a computer hacker and builder. I know my way around most systems and am fluent in almost every type of code. Mostly I build computers and run websites for other people for a living, but I have been known to take on other...rather felonious tasks if they pay well enough. I also build guns, and am known as a great markswoman. There is almost no target I can't hit.
Appearance: Reine Addition: She has black wings, but she can retract them. It is painful to bring them out again after long periods of time of keeping them in.
Bio: I am a Day Demon, working with the Nightwalkers. I shun my own kind, turning my back on them, for they are too soft. Though I am rather quiet and withdrawn compared to my new allies, I believe I fit in better here, since they are actually willing to put up a good fight. Now I must once again return to my blood brethren, and work with them. I will be lucky if they decide to leave me alive. After all, I betrayed them.

Role: Fourth in command under my house, and foster parent to Lisa. I work the night shifts as a doctor in the local hospital and am smuggler of blood; I have many mouths to feed.
Appearance:
Bio: I was recruited into the household at a young age. I was seven teen when I first offered my services to the Farspell clan and twelve years later I was given the honor of becoming one of them. I have worked hard to earn my keep and will not let others forget that nor think that it would be easy to enter such a prestigious house. I was told by my superiors that they sought people with specific genetic structure; a temporary but long term resistance to our venom. Lisa is one of the fortunate few who had this extremely rare resistance. In fact I’m amazed she has held out this long.
I have met Felistia Variz when she was sent to assimilate, and look forward to working with her again.
Of course her whole family had to go. We couldn’t train her properly with them in the way, and we couldn’t let her know she was being used either. We needed someone who could walk in the daylight, to spy, and give us the key to the weapon we seek. Ancient weapons that will help us destroy those ignorant Day deamons, I will not work with them no matter what the sate of our kind is.

Bio: I have known maliki most of my life. I was adopted into his family from the start and after the turning of my birth father and myself I fled to them. Maliki’s parents took me in and helped me to live with the changes I wish I didn’t have. His father, God rest his tormented soul, taught me the ways of the Day Demons and I have fought with them ever sense.

Bio: I fell in love with Pat before I knew that he was a Nightwalker. to be honest it didn't really surprise me though I figure it's supossed to. I didn't believe him at first but it made sence after really thinking about it. He hates that his family is forced to live in his darkness, but I'm with him no matter what.

Bio: As a young man, I knew nothing of the monsters known as vampires. I grew up in a small suburb, was educated through college (which I graduated a year early), and lived a normal life. When I turned twenty-two, I was in love with my girlfriend and ready to ask her to marry me. I never got the chance. She was found dead two days after I bought the ring, two pricks to the neck, and completely drained of blood. After that loss, I decided it was time to figure out what was going on, and fight back.
After I communicated with friends I had in the underground areas of the city, I discovered a horrifying fact that changed me: vampires were real. They were a true threat, and had been the reason for Emily’s death. Now, whether they’re Day Demons, or Nightwalkers, I don’t care. They’re all the same to me. With my fellow venator, I fight for a better tomorrow, and have decided that we will win back our freedom and lives from these…despicable creatures

Role: Gloriette is normal by all means...college drop out who works as a waitress on evenings. She wanted to be a writer for a major journal in the city, but fell in love with a local poet.

Bio: Well...my life is crazy. I work insane hours at the coffee shop on Laxen Blvd. and it's not rare to get man handled in there. Drunks seem to have this thing about coming to the cafe, but I like it all the same. My boyfriend of 1 and one half years, Trent, and I live in a flat not far from here. He usually stops by to pick me up after work. Though I never seem to have enough of anything, I'm pretty happy. Sure, I gave up my dream of journalism, but I don't really mind. Trent makes me happy...Speaking of Trent, he hasn't been home in days. He went out around five before my shift (like always), but he didn't come back. I hope he's alright.
