All of you, this is a warning. Make sure you have a strong pass for your acc.
Be sure to use NUMBERS and use caps in your pass. Dont be like others that have been hacked. I am making May our guild's "Protect your account, Protect your self!" awareness month!
Please! I would hate to see any of you hacked or scammed, just like someone else in the guild was. He is a dear friend. Saifer Matsuka and I used to date irl, so he has my number. He called and told me. Poor guy.
And another thing, make sure your email for your gaia account is current. He would have been okay, (besides missing items) if his email account was current to one that he uses. He says that his email was one he hasn't used for years.
So, please! Please! Make sure you have a secure pass, and a updated email addy.

i think sum1 tryed to scam me outa my acc, but i knew better... i got a pm saying sumting lik "we think your hacking the market" or sum lame-o thingy. an it was from a lik (srry i dont fully rember the name) it had admin in it it was lik blah blah blah-admin-blah blah blah (blah blah blah means i dunno) an i sent tem back an they said theyed deletet my acc if i didnt igv it to them, an i told them "screw u lame-o scammers" (pardon my launge) an he neer pm'd me back an well guess what... im still here lol ^_^

If you still have that old PM you should have reported it. It helps out the real mods and admins if you report threads, pm's and others that are acting like scammers or just trying to see 14yrsolds boobies. O.o not cool, and totally against the ToS of Gaia, and the guild rules. O.o

Yeah, report it. It was a scammer, and if that person is still scamming, it will continue until the mods know of him/her's actions.

yes that happened to me once i got a message saying that i was under investigation.
and that i was likely to be banned from gaia. it was scary because it looked pretty professional too.
but i looked into the account that the message was sent from and quickly found out it was a scammer
they wanted my pass. and email D:
i reported them.

aranael yes that happened to me once i got a message saying that i was under investigation. and that i was likely to be banned from gaia. it was scary because it looked pretty professional too. but i looked into the account that the message was sent from and quickly found out it was a scammer they wanted my pass. and email D: i reported them. Very good! I'm glad you did, Peiko got something like that before. Back when she did a lot of quizzes in the chatter box. And most of those quizzes ask how much gold you have.
