Can anybody kinda make a summary of all, or most, of the episodes? Like, what happened, which card was captured or turned into a Sakura Card, that kind of thing.

Hm, this is pretty tedious. Maybe I can put something up: Episode Title, Episode Summary, and Card Captured. -Sakura

* Sakura has the foreshadowing dream of the distant Final Judgment.
* Sakura senses the presence of the Clow Book and opens it. She reads Windy aloud and accidentally scatters the other fifty-one Clow Cards.

* Sakura captures The Fly, but she adamantly insists she does not want the job. All the same, she shows quick thinking, considerable magical power, and sheer joy on her first ride on the tamed Fly.

Card(s) captured: The Shadow

More broadly, the trend begins of Tomoyo accompanying Sakura on her Card capturing and becoming "the perfect sidekick." She dresses Sakura up, films her adventures, helps out in any way a non-magical person can, and gives her undiminishing support and encouragement at every turn.
* Sakura finally accepts her role as Cardcaptor, most likely because of Tomoyo's aforementioned support.

* Tomoyo gives Sakura and Cerberus cell phones, which establishes the close communication all three will have for the rest of the series.
* Yukito and Sakura go on a casual "date," which is not coincidentally at a cafe where Yukito knew Touya was working. For the first time we learn Yukito has a bigger appetite than most.
* For the first time Sakura has to actually formulate a plan to capture a Card, rather than simply jumping into battle and attacking with Windy. Using her wits and an unintentional clue from Yukito, she lures Watery into a freezer and immobilizes her to capture it.

Ep # 8
Title: "Sakura's Rival Appears"
Airdate: May 26 1998
Sakura's costume: pink rubber dress with kitty-cat ears
Card(s) captured: The Thunder

Timeline: early June

Characters Introduced:

* Syaoran Li

Characters Emphasized: Sakura, Syaoran

Key plot points and revelations:

* For the first time since Episode 1, Sakura dreams of the Final Judgment. Specifically she sees the boy from Episode 7, wielding a sword.
* Sakura hears from both Cerberus and Yukito about "foretelling dreams," their speech not coincidentally almost exact copies. This is a hint that Yukito and Cerberus have the same background, even if it's only in Yukito's subconscious. Yukito also dreams of what he'll have for breakfast and is surprised to actually receive it.
* Mr. Terada and Rika share a glance for the first time, one that actually flusters the teacher and hints at some kind of relationship.
* The boy from Sakura's dreams appears in class as a new student. He's Chinese, from Hong Kong, and his name is Syaoran Li. He's the first character in the show to antagonize Sakura, and he terrifies her.
* Syaoran informs Sakura that he knows about the Clow Cards, Cerberus, and that he will be assuming the task of capturing them from now on. He displays some kind of magic using a Chinese-style compass, and recites a litany of the Chinese elements. He tries to take the cards from Sakura by force when she refuses, the only time he ever physically attacks her.
* Touya rushes in to defend his sister, cementing a life-long hostility between the two males.
* Yukito also appears, and for some reason his appearance flusters Syaoran so much that he runs away.
* After hearing about Syaoran, Cerberus explains for the first time Clow Reed in more detail. Clow Reed was born of a British father and Chinese mother, and used magic combined of eastern and western styles. He explains Sakura has been using Clow's magic, which anyone magical could do, but only a few create entirely new magic. Clow was one such sorcerer. The Li clan, a famous family of Chinese sorcerers from which Clow's mother came, had moved to Hong Kong and generations later bore Syaoran Li. So he is a distant descendant of Clow's.
* In battle with the Thunder Card, Syaoran demonstrates some of his command over elemental magic. He can call on thunder and wind, directing the magic with a sword. He is also athletic and graceful, and clearly well-read on the Clow Cards. He has to instruct Sakura how to capture the Card.
* Obviously, Sakura still has to do the actual sealing. Thanks to Syaoran's constant derogatory remarks, Sakura is left feeling upset after a card capture for the first time.

Ep # 9
Title: "Sakura and the Mysterious Brooch"
Airdate: Jun 2 1998
Sakura's costume: none
Card(s) captured: The Sword

Timeline: early June

Characters introduced:

* Takashi Yamazaki

Characters Emphasized: Sakura, Rika, Terada

Key plot points and revelations:

* Sakura, whose cheerfulness has been a staple of her personality since Episode #1, is forlorn for the first time. Syaoran's confidence and obviously superior skill has shaken her.
* Takashi makes his first appearance, as the loudly-laughing classmate full of ridiculous stories.
* For the first time we see Cerberus playing a video game. He doesn't seem to have experienced any confusion about all the technological advances around him that didn't exist when he was sealed away, and eagerly embraces video games.
* Syaoran saves Sakura from being sliced open by Rika and the Sword Card just in time. Even as a rival card gatherer and abusive judge of her talents, Syaoran begins the trend of showing up to help fight a Card and often saving Sakura when she gets herself in too much trouble. Tomoyo is her cheerleader, but Syaoran is the tough fighter Sakura needs to help her out. He's experienced in both combat and magic, knows the Cards better than she does, is quick to make a decision and doesn't hold back for gooey stuff like friendship. He's unafraid and willing to fight the battles Sakura won't.
* For the first time Sakura notices Syaoran's absence of name address. While she addresses him as "Li-kun," Syaoran simply refers to her as "you." This becomes an important part of the increasing character development between the two throughout the series.
* For the first time Sakura stands up to Syaoran, in order to protect her friend from being hurt. Obviously friendship motivates her.
* Sakura discovers Rika's true feelings about Mr. Terada when she uses the Illusion Card on her.
* Touya's "sister complex" blares an alarm when he hears Syaoran has been around Sakura.
* Syaoran is dismayed when he sees Sakura offer a gift of chocolate to Yukito, and quickly gives sweets of his own. Tomoyo has to explain to Sakura that Syaoran is "interested" in Yukito just like Sakura is. This establishes that Sakura and Syaoran are now rivals for two very important things; control of the Clow Cards and Yukito.

Ep # 10
Title: "Sakura and the Sport's Day of Flowers"
Airdate: Jun 16 1998
Sakura's costume: none
Card(s) captured: The Flower

Timeline: mid-June

Characters Introduced:

* Sonomi Daidouji

Characters Emphasized: Sonomi, Fujitaka

Key plot points and revelations:

* Syaoran and Sakura go against each other in the obstacle course race, beginning the trend of their competitive rivalry that pops up at every opportunity.
* For the first time Sakura is seen performing with the cheerleaders in her pleated skirt.
* Sakura invites Syaoran to share her family's picnic lunch, for the first time extending an overture of friendship that will take him a long time to reciprocate.
* Tomoyo's mother appears for the first time, and Sakura notices that Tomoyo never mentions a father.
* Sonomi and Fujitaka meet, and both are shocked. From their conversation we learn a lot about the past; Sonomi Daidouji was once Sonomi Amamiya, cousin to Nadeshiko. Nadeshiko was not only young when she married (16), but the student of Fujitaka when he was a new teacher. Sonomi was fiercely protective of Nadeshiko, and never forgave Fujitaka for marrying her cousin so young. She seems to blame him for Nadeshiko's death, though not in any direct way.
* Sakura knew none of this, but Touya seems to know most of it. He explains to Yukito that his mother was the daughter of a rich family and that her cousin was against the marriage.
* Both Sonomi and Fujitaka turn out to be once-skilled runners in the past, when they compete in the parent's race.
* Sonomi cries that she loved Nadeshiko the most, implying her feelings were romantic.
* Tomoyo tells Sakura "I love you," but Sakura accepts it in the platonic sense. It is not clear whether it was meant to be romantic or not.

Ep # 11
Title: "Sakura, Tomoyo, and a Mansion"
Airdate: Jun 23 1998
Sakura's costume: none
Card(s) captured: The Shield

Timeline: late June

Characters Emphasized: Sakura and Nadeshiko, Tomoyo and Sonomi

Key plot points and revelations:

* For the first time Sakura sees Tomoyo's home. The elaborate mansion and maids confirm the earlier hints that Tomoyo's family has a lot of money to throw around. Tomoyo shows off her giant-screen TV and video collection of Sakura.
* Sonomi shares a lot of her memories of Nadeshiko with Sakura over tea, comparing the two women. Both mother and daughter are beautiful and cheerful and look a lot alike, but Sakura is athletic where Nadeshiko was terminally clumsy. She mentions 'Grandfather' once. She also tells Sakura how her parents met, when Nadeshiko fell out of a tree and onto Fujitaka.
* Tomoyo presents the special box and explains her mother asked her to open it for the first time in a while. No doubt this happened after Episode #10, when Sonomi met Sakura and wanted to revisit her memories of Nadeshiko.
* Inside the box is a dried bouquet of cherry blossoms. Sonomi explains to Sakura that the flowers were her mother's wedding bouquet, and that Nadeshiko always loved cherry blossoms. She had always planned to name her daughter "Sakura."
* The other object in the box in an eraser shaped like a bunny. Sakura does not see it. From Tomoyo's memories we see that it is the first object Sakura ever gave to her.
* The Shield is attracted to the box, because its contents are extremely important to the owners, according to Cerberus. This demonstrates the perfect parallel feelings of Sonomi and Tomoyo for Nadeshiko and Sakura, respectively.
