Rules of Roleplaying
1. Follow Gaia TOS and whatnot. Any kind of roleplay that has something to do with Animorphs is all right here with the exception of slave roleplays. Those are just.. not right.. <.<'' Also, I don't give a damn whether or not you use * or are "literate." I'm leaving it up to the roleplay owners to decide.
2. Don't flame people. Respect your fellow RPers. You do not need to accept everyone who applies to your RP. This right I will reserve to you. (Plus I can't see PMs you receive, unless you have people post their profiles on your thread). Some people may play according to their characters, so their real personality may be completely different..
3. Follow guild rules. That's self-explanatory. You do not have to type your posts out like a novel, but do make it understandable =P Also, no cybering, try not to use alternating cApS LiKe THiS because seriously, not many people want to read stuff like that. How many people will you get to join your RP if you type like that?
4. We would prefer if you organize your RP well. This of course depends on what kind of roleplay you are doing however, as not all roleplays need to follow a certain format. For most however, you would ideally have the summary of your RP as the first post, rules in the 2nd post (or 1st, really doesn't matter), the profile sheet the third post, and any character profiles in however many posts you need. If you could separate out the "good" and "bad" guys, plus any neutral characters, that would be cool, since it'd be easier for people to understand, but it's not necessary. Yes, I like things nice and neat and organized, even if I don't seem like it in real life ==''
5. If you are the owner of an existing RP that's not part of this guild, we have a thread where you can advertisement. Please do not make a thread solely for the purpose of advertising.
6. If you need your roleplay needs to be deleted at any time, please contact us through PM. If you need someone to run the RP because you're leaving it, also PM one of us, and we will tell any newcomers to your RP thread to PM profiles to us so we can update the thread.
7. Remember that the RP may not end up going the way you originally intended it to be.. If something like this happens, I will give you the option of restarting your thread. Either that, or go with the flow; you may end up liking it more than your original idea! I know for sure this happens with me.
8. You powerplay, you die. Rawr. That goes for people who god-mod, too. No one has a perfect character. No one has the ability to control another person's character or even kill him off without the player's permission. If you are reported for doing this, you will first receive a warning, then a banning from the guild.
9. Any questions PM me, Atekius. I do have experience with roleplays as I have been doing them for almost four years now, plus I have made several RPs.. so.. yeah oO;; I know what I'm talking about and am not simply BS-ing XP
10. Along with your roleplay thread, please also create an OOC thread. That way, you can do all your OOC talk in that thread instead of in the actual roleplay.
11. Do not bump your roleplay thread. The only time this rule will be removed is when we have more than one page of roleplay threads. Even then, I would prefer you bump the OOC.. just so it's kept nice and neat x]
