Guild of Assassin’s RP
(legal jargon) This RP is based loosly on the book Imperial Assassin by Mark Robson.
Introduction:
I accept that as a member of this Guild:
I must accept the ultimate authority of the Guildmaster.
He is my guide, my father and my conscience.
He will maintain me on the path of light.
I will accept his orders without question,
And carry out his request, regardless of cost – even be it my life.
I will accept only those contracts that have a just purpose.
I will accept no contract that I foresee may cause the destruction of the Empire.
Those who offer contracts that do not clearly demonstrate a just purpose,
Or that work against the greater good of the Guild
I will report to the Guildmaster.
I will kill only to fulfil a just contract,
Or to cover my tracks, such that none shall learn more of the Guild.
I will kill at the Guildmaster’s direction.
He is the discerner of the truth, my leader who seeks only to serve righteousness.
I will kill anyone who kills indiscriminately,
Regardless of status, age or sex.
These evildoers deserve the ultimate punishment.
I will never kill for pleasure, revenge, in anger, or out of jealousy.
I accept that doing so would place me at the mercy of the Guildmaster.
I offer up a tenth of all contract monies to the maintenance of the Guild.
As is fair and just.
I state this creed in the full knowledge that should I break it,
My life will be forfeit.

This is the Sacred Oath the assassin’s must swear by to enter the Guild. This is to ensure that none shall not know their purpose, or kill without meaning.
Story:
The Empire has declared the Guild of assassin’s Public Enemy #1, so if an assassin is found on the streets, they are to be killed on the spot. Of course, this doesn't work very well. Assasins are masters of disguise, so one could be walking passed you right now and you wouldn't even know.
The new Emperor decided to find the hidden Guild and destroy it. So far, the Guild has remained hidden. Its whereabouts are unknown. All the Emperor knows is that it is in the city, somewhere. Not even the assassin’s of the Guild know where it is located.
They enter the Guild through transport stones. Each stone is specially linked to a certain talisman. Each talisman is linked to three stones. There is one stone located in each seperate quarters, and two stones placed around the city. All the assassin has to do is lay his or her talisman on the stone and they will instantly be transported.
The transportation from outside to inside feels like you are being exploded from the inside out, but with out pain, then all the pieces being squshed back together. Barely any one makes it through their first teleport consious, and it takes a few goes to get used to it.
Once an Assassin has joined the guild, they are in it for life. Once they have accepted their talisman, they cannot go more than 3 meters from it. Doing so will kill them instantly, as their life force is tied to the talisman with magic.
Every member of the Guild is a "Brother". Most of the Brothers are male, but there can be a few females in there as well. Each Brother is named after their talisman, therefore Brother Dragon's symbol would be a Dragon. Brothers are named after a predator, mythological or real. (But within reason please)
Assassins accept contracts on people from the Guildmaster. A client would get in contact with the Guildmaster and request that a person be removed. If the contract does not break the creed, then the Guildmaster will asign it to one of the Brother's.
Assassins cannot accept contracts on their follow Brothers, nor can they kill their fellow bretheren. Most of them don't even know what the others look like. The longer a Brother has been in the Guild, the more people they will have seen inducted. Each new member's face is revealed for all once and once only. New assassins may never know what the others look like, as everyone wears long, brown, hooded cloaks whilst outside their own quarters.
A Guild member may choose to reveal their face to another member of the Guild. This is their business alone, and the Guildmaster does not care as long as the information does not jepardise the Guild.
The Guild Head Quarters and passages between quarters and the central chamber are dark and lit with torches only at the end where the quarters are. The central chamber is dark and shadowy, with a small platform in the center which the Guildmaster stands on. A flight of spiral stairs lead down into the Guildmaster's personal quarters. All other Guild members sit in shadowy booths linked to the passage to their quarters. The stone work around the booths displays the symbol of the assassin sitting within.
Personal quarters are set up like a mini house, with a bedroom, living room and a small alcove in which the transport stone is located. This is where each Brother is brought back to, in their own quarters, when touching a stone. Quarters are decorated how the occupant wishes, but the door frames are carved with the assassins symbol.
There are also servants in the Guild. They wait on the Brothers and know them only by their "Code Name". They bring all meals to quarters for the assassins.
A Guild Meeting is held every day, at the 3rd afternoon bell (3:00 pm). All present members of the Guild who are able to attend do so, while the Guildmaster discusses any issues that may have arised. In event of an energancy, a Guild Meeting can be called at any time.
Each Guild member has a Stone Brother who looks out for them. Each person can only have one Stone Brother. They are the only person who will be looking out for their Stone Brother during their first few days in the guild.
The Emperor commands an army called the Legion. They are willing to fight and die for the Empire. They live in a semi-permanent city of tents which allows them to live in conditions similar they face on a battle front. Each tent houses 10 people, and the tents are set in great long rows, the First Legion first, the Second Legion second and so on.
Each Legion is commanded by a Legion Commander. Under the Legion Commander in the File Second, who deals with the every day things in that Legion. He ensures that troops get to their training on time and do their duties.
Under the Emperor's orders, the Legionaires are now patrolling the city, searching for the assassin’s Guild. Because no one knows where it is, it is hard for them. They are prepared to pull the city apart to find the Guild. The Guildmaster won't let that happen.
