I love playing Tenacious D songs on guitar! Me and a buddie of mine even call ourselves Expolisvo when we gt together and play Tenacious D songs. I'm not as talented as KG on guitar but i can sing his harmony parts.
We even used to play the cd when we had staff meetings.
We took Lee and changed the lyrics to me and my friends initials. We even worked with a guy named Lee! Oh and the job was a musical instrument shop.
so we played alot of D songs on the guitars there XD
They are the inspiration i needed to play guitar!
Ramble over...
Any guitar players that know alot of D songs?

Yeah, I've been playing the guitar for just over two years now and I can play close to any of the D's songs, but I find to have major difficulty while playing the "riff" from Belziboss and close to the entire middle of Master Exploder.

Some of their songs are rather easy for beginners because of the large amounts of power-chords and the fact that most of their songs if you find the finger positions too difficult, you can alter them slightly to fit your comfort and it will still sound great.
Try going for Lee, the intro to The Metal, and Classico (which is just tabs).

There songs are relatively easy on the keyboard, but they just sound best on the acoustic guitars.

I've played guitar for around three years and I really enjoy playing Tribute as well as a couple other songs

I don't play the guitar, or any instrument for that matter but if I did I would certainly attempt some of The D's songs.

A while back me and two buddies of mine were going to start up a Tenacious D tribute band, but we ended up never completing our destiny.
I'm sort of down about not getting that started up, but I got drafted into another band and until I can get this one going no D tributes will come from my fingers.

I can sing and play Kickapoo perfectly, and i play a lot of their other songs, its so much fun. They're great songs to play when your with a crowd, because its like telling a joke with music. And also Tenacious D is the greatest band eva!
