I'm Dutch, so I live in the Netherlands. In my country, gay marriage has been legalized several years ago. I find this a good development and hope it will also happen in other countries. However, there are also people who disagree with gay marriage for different reasons. Now I'd like to know your opinion.
However, if you state your opinion, I also expect you to defend it. Be prepared to get people discussing against you. If you won't properly defend your points, then don't post.

I am totally pro gay marriage, I figure if 2 people love each other to pledge themselves to each other for life, they should have the rights of any other life partner couple.*it is frivolous divorces I have a problem with*

I believe in Gay marriage, mostly because your gender shouldn't matter, if you love someone you love them. All the douchebag homophobes out there need to get over it. And to be perfectly honest with you, most homophobes are rednecks. They have absolutely no right to hate gays.

I belive that Terry said it best: terry winters I Call myself a lesbian alot, but truth be told, I have been with a few men , and even some Transgenders. I feel that it doesn't matter what sex the person is, if you click you click. Love is love, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or any other factor. if you love someone, you love them and that's that. marriage has nothing to do with gender. 3nodding

It's good to see that there are plenty of people in favour of gay marriage, though I'm being realistic when I say that most anti-gay people probably wouldn't even look in this sub-forum stare

Theres a difference between legally married and married by the church/God. Personally I feel homosexuals should be allowed both however the fact they aren't allowed to be legally married in the U.S. is a blatant violation of their constitutional rights. People just never think of them as two separate entities.
Thats the legal end of it.
In the spiritual end of things, if you love someone you love them. You cannot help who you love, and if you've found the person you want to be with until the end of forever and they reciprocate then god bless you both and may you have a happy life together, joined in marriage.

I vote for it.
The Bible says the opposite sex should marry.
But, doesn't God want you to be happy?
So, if your happy with the same sex, then, shouldn't God be happy?

But yes. I must agree as well, as marriage should solely be about love, and serve as a symbol of two person's commitment to one another.

The Bible is nothing but stupid, made up Mythology, Half the s**t in it makes No since, and are impossible to do, For instance; Being swallowed by a Giant Fish and then spit back up after a long journy inside of it..... The guy would of died the moment he was swollowed cause of the stomach Acid, I think the bible was written by stupid Haters and Most of the world belives them and say they dont "Hate" but they snarl every time a couple of the same sex want to get married stare theres my opinion
