What have you always wanted to cosplay as and why havne't you done it yet?I always have wanted to cosplay as Soul Calibur's Xianghua.
I havne't done it yet, because well the costume is so detailed and complicated in my opinion and I'm just not that good at making costumes, and I don't have too much money to pay someone to make it for me.

Someday I'll be brave enough to start it.
Right now I just want to concentrate on my Kula Diamond for Akon this year.

Well... I have one 'impossible dream'. When I saw Gankutsuou I fell in love with it, especially the art style. It would be awesome to cosplay someone from it! (I'd probably cosplay Franz, or maybe Albert) But it's impossible for me, at the moment. The art style makes the clothes super hard to make. Making lots of patterns and using tons of glitter would be too much. And my hair is too long anyway. .__. (I don't want to cut my hair for one cosplay... I like it long. Really long, around 70 cm at the moment :'D ) ---------- But for this summer I try to make a good cosplay anyway. I'll be making the maid dress from the 12th episode of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. 3nodding (I won't be cosplaying Tsurya, though, since I don't want to dye my hair green D smile

aww, well you don't have to cut your hair, you could wear a wig.

Lot's of patterns and details is a little complicated for me right now too.
It's been a long time since I've actually been sewing and such.
I can't wait to get my new sewing machine though.

Wig would do it, yeah... but good looking wigs are pretty expensive (I'm too stingy to use +30€ for a wig :/ ) and it's also kinda hard to keep long hair under the wig. sweatdrop
I'll show pics of the dress when I finish it. (I haven't started it yet) Well, I have lots of time, since the convention (Animecon V) is 14. - 15. July. 3nodding

Ohh where does that con take place?
I'm waiting on Akon June 1-3rd.
I just got this wonderful idea to do Pikachu!!
I'm not sure what material to use though.
Any suggestions?
Wigs can be a hassle, I'm sure a Wig cap would really help keep your hair undercontrol with the wig?
Ebay has really good wigs for decent prices.
I've bought wigs for as cheap as $20 bucks and they turned out really nice.
I guess ya just really gota look around.
If I come accross some perty decent prices for wigs I'll let ya know...

Animecon takes place in Finland. Finland's biggest con or something. :p (we don't have that many cons here, unfortunately)
I'm not that fond of ordering stuff online, it can get pretty expensive, too. (Finland, Finland, Finland...) And I don't really need a wig at the moment. sweatdrop

And mann to some of these kids reeeek soo bad.

I thought it was soo funny that on the akon event's pamplet it mentioned to weare excessive amounts of Deoderant.
