I get labeled too. And I don't even know anybody. Mostly my cousins. They call me goth for about the same reasons as you neutral and my nails aren't even black all the time. And right now I'm not wearing any black. But I am reading. Bah. People are stupid, who cares what they think?

Well i don't know if i'm goth or not. i dress in black, wear black gloves (those that show the fingers X3 i love those gloves) and i also paint my nails, dark red, black and purple. but my gothic friends tell me i am, so i don't really know. but in my school, i don't have a nickname.. they just tease.. like: "Look, Halloween is in the house!" or "hey b***h, isn't it too late for Halloween?" and stuff like that... but i already got used to it. you know what's better? to ignore and have fun with it. i mean, have u ever tried to look at everyone's face when they look at you? it can be hilarious sometimes! xd com'on! if they make fun of us, why can we make fun of them? wink

Yuko does have a point. Personally I like my Labels it keeps me away from everyone else. I love individuality and express it every chance i get. It's like that saying "You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same."

Because I mainly listen listen to rock and j-rock, and I wear certain types of clothing people would call me 'freak' emo, drunker (in Venezuela, the country where I used to live, if you liked rock or anything similar to that, you where automatically labeled as a rebel, drunker, druggy, etc) goth, mamarracha (is spanish label, used to 'define' girls that are a bit boyinsh like, such as tomboy (I'm not sure if that's how you guys spell this word...) the difference is that in some latinoamerican countries this world cen be taken as an insult, it is a bit hard to explain...n.nu) m... loner or anti-social (just because I read a lot, and since when I read I like to do it in complete silence I go and do it by myself stare )
And I agree with Yuko regarding the word 'emo'

According to my brother, Roxas is emo. For some reason, he also says that Roxas is dead, despite the fact that he was never killed.

I remember i saw something on a signature of a girl in a forum that was something like: "Emo is an emotive hardcore, a music style ONLY. The new meaning is bullshit." i strongly agree with this quote. But when i told that to my friends, they teased me, so for a few weeks, they didn't call me emo, they called me "emotive hardcore music". stare
