Well thats a little harder let me think....
Sora beat Sephiroth and Could is his equal ...
So in terms of the most powerful it goes as such:
Sephiroth = Cloud < Sora And lets see Axel and Roxas are pretty mush the same but I think Roxas without his memories could beat him so...
Axel[sorry Axel ;_;]
But that is only a one one match... 5 > 1 So team Axel would win against Roxas.

No I just analyze what I see and apply it to what I know. It's just logic no one knows if its true or not, personally I like all those guys so I don't want to use favoritism to decide such an outcome.

It's hard not to think of shallow reasons, since every one of us have conformed each character to some extent, no?

Very true.
It is much easier to think of shallow reasons like "because their cool" or whatever. It's much harder for people to thing that maybe the character they like might get their a** kicked in combat with someone they don't like.

Well the whole Axel < Roxas thing I think is only true when Roxas doesn't have his memories of the Organization and when Axel is "mad" at him for not remembering their friendship[or taking too long to remember it]. Otherwise I think they would be pretty equal.
