!_RULES_!
1. Do NOT post duplicate games. Any duplicate games will be moved to the recycling bin.
2. All games MUST have a clear set of rules in the first post.
3. Bumping of games is NOT permitted unless the game has been inactive for over a week. If a game has been inactive for a month or more, you are permitted to create a new game thread.
4. Chat threads are NOT permitted in this subforum.
5. If it's not a word game, it's spam and it will be moved and/or deleted.
6. Do not post after yourself, i.e. you cannot post twice in a row. Allow at least one other person to post in between your own posts - the point of games is that they be played together.

!_Frequently Asked Questions_!
What's a Word Game? A word game is defined as a thread that has a continual set of rules or obligations that dictate the nature of the conversation or participation in it, that fits the general description of a "game".
In English? A word game is a thread that uses rules and themes to entice people into playing. Some word games operate on the "person above you" method, but many do not.
What makes a good Word Game? Good word games need to be easy to understand, with clear rules. They shouldn't require a lot of effort on the part of the player.
What are the different types of Word Games? Almost all word games are based off the "person above you" rule where users post comments about the person above them. Others operate off of the "person below you" method. Still others have nothing to do with users and use different methods.
Where can I find the rules for each thread? All of the word games should have the rules in the very first post. If you find a word game that does not have the rules in the first post, please PM a moderator.
Why won't people play my game? There are many reasons - your rules are not clear, your game is a repeat, it's too complicated, you just created it... Be patient. If several days have gone by and no one has responded, then look around the forum and see if your game is a replica of one that is getting a lot of attention. Otherwise, sometimes games just aren't much fun.
