Mainly because even post-time skip Hinata is interested in other things and wouldn't be very happy with Neji as her husband. More than likely, neither would Neji. He accepts her as main branch and does love her, but probably only as a cousin.

Burn. *has no idea what is trying to get at* You're right, it is only a 'possibility' but that doesn't mean I was leading towards NaruHina being the bigger pairing Miss 'NARUSAKU SASUHINA- tard' --shot-- And honestly, I've gone bleh on both SasuSaku and NaruSaku. I don't care who gets her and probably will give up on all Sakura pairings at this rate. Accept, of course, ItaSaku. :3 You're right on that. She did have a major crush on him, but that was just a crush. Kind of like Sakura's for Sasuke and Naruto's for Sakura. Stupid Four way! gonk But then again, I haven't been paying much attention to Hinata so I haven't really seen if her affection for Naruto grew like Naru's for Saku or, in part one, Saku's for Sasu.
