Well the premeire has come and gone. The backdoor for the Phantom Zone was a lot easier than it's been portrayed in the past...4 Kryptonian Phantoms were sucked through the portal with Clark, and we see one of them at the very end. That should be interesting.

We finally see the Sheild- not a Kryptonian variation but THE shield. That was very nice.

Nice to see that they are going to develop on the Clark/Chloe moment. Anyone who thinks that's over, missed the whole tension between the triangle and Clarks apparent disappointment when Chloe stated she wasn't expecting to hook up.

I am curious...is Lionel now channeling Jor-el or is it something else? What with his "POWER" glyph and all.........

But what really stood out was Jor-el's silence towards Clark and his remarks towards Martha about Clark's destiny being his own now. Couple that with Martha's speech about heroes...and I think we've just witnessed the conception of Superman, I think this season and the next will be about his growth into that role.

i think chloe thinks that it is going to be the same that clark would say that "i only like you as a friend" he said that for a while now. but i hope they do get together soon!!!!!!! i think those 4 phantom things are going to appear at the end of the season and that would be cool. i almost agree with you on the superman thing but i think that makes him become superman someone else very close to him like chloe maybe dies and she might tell him "clark use your powers to help others" or somthing like that. so maybe that would be a good end of the season thing to see but it would be also sad. they might do that because chloe is not in the comics and then lois will take on her duties at the daily planet.

That was the impression that I got, she decided to act non chalant about it, to avoid getting rejected again. I know I've used that same technique when trying to avoid an awkward moment with someone I might of liked to hook up with. By convincing herself that it was nothing, she takes the sting out of it. But Clarks reaction to Jimmy tells me that he was less than thrilled with Chloe's attitude about what happened.

Think about it. Zod's phantom had to be housed in a body that had been "prepped" for him by Brainiac-inside Lex. Jor-el had housed a peice of his essence within Lionel, making Lionel the Oracle. So even though Lionel's body isn't enhaced, like Lex'es was, it is still prepped for use.

that is true but maybe one of the really evil phantom things will be at the end of the season...... well who knows right. i really hope some point this season or next clark and chloe will be together. but do you think chloe will die, in this or next?

This girl right here still has HIGH expectations for Chlark. I could careless right now about that. But as for the whole Shield being played in, Gough and Millar have my greatest apathies. They really did well with ZOD. Though now that the season has progressed, I am a little disappointed in the ease that Clark is able to defeat the phantoms in. It seems like its Clark will be like "Look a Phantom! I must go after it" then 10 seconds later the Phantom is defeated.

confused That's so true. At this point the crystal Raya gave him is practically his personal proton pack. rolleyes I just wanna know what would happen if someone where to break the Ecto-Containment Unit... I mean crystal stare ...
