Hi, everyone! I'm new. My name is Jaime (aka wingedorange), and I've only been on Gaia since March, but I enjoy it. I'm a grad student living in North Jersey (with my boyfriend and my cockatiel) and going to school in NYC, working on an MA in psychology. I like to knit and cross-stitch and do crafty things, and until I moved to the city, I rode horses. I also love Harry Potter, small fuzzy animals, and World of Warcraft.

Hey ya'll, everyone just calls me Jewel. I am...well, I'd rather not give out my age except to people I know well.
The things I like to do are listen to music, role play, write, read, draw, sing, and play video games. Mostly RPGs.
My best friend ever is...well, he's on Gaia but I won't give out his sn. But he's awesome. ^.^

First of all... Probably the best way to get to know me is to get involved in a conversation with me. I hate introducing myself to people, but I have no problems talking about life experiences and things going on in my life when I'm involved in a real conversation.
I guess statistics help. I'm a young mother, 23, of a beautiful 3 year old son. I'm also married to a wonderful young man, who happens to be the same age as myself (Wedding photo in the profile). I live on the East Coast of Florida, and even though I've already got an Associates in the Arts degree, I'm going back to school for an Associates in Applied Sciences in Business Management with a focus on Accounting. Hopefully, someday, that will become a Bachelor's in Accounting, but one step at a time. ^^;

You can call me Sparrowhawk for short. I'm not really from Gont. I'm from Northern California. I am a 47-year-old mother of two! But you can call me Great Grampa; that's what AKASuperman calls me.
Let's see... what else would I like to let you know about me? I guess I prefer for my personality to gradually unfold but I will say this:
I am really glad to find a place for older Gaians. I came to Gaia because my kids were playing here and I wanted to make sure it was safe. Now, I am meeting all these really amazing younger people, and that's very cool, but I also want to know that it's not all kids here. So, thanks for the guild membership!
