on the halloween episode of season 5, James Marsters character says "Clark, there's no such things as vampires." When for roughly eight years he played one on that very station.

I think they throw a lot of that humor in there with the guest stars who have a quite famous background. Such as Chris Reeves saying something like he spen "12 years figuring out the Kryptonian Language"

Or even the Massive amounts of DoH comments that came out in Exposed and IN Nicodemis in the beginning when Jonathon is in the truck driving and that guy starts hitting him on the car stereo it has the DoH theme Song playing
