Have you ever gotten the chance to be up close with a star? Has anyone in your family ever done it? How about your friends?
YES?
Then share them with the world! Brag that you had some sort of connection sometime in that place over there to *insert famous name*!
My encounters: surprised
1)The other day, I was in the mall with my sister and we decided to go to Hot Topic to see if the Spiderman sweatshirt was still there that I wanted. Lo and behold, there is a mini camera crew filming Dee Snider and his kids in Hot Topic, most likely for Meet The Sniders a new show soon coming to VH1 (I think)
2) My dad used to work with Steven Spielburg's sister (I think that's the connection)
2a)My friends were bowling one night and their boy walked over to the lane next to theirs to a man. He asked "Are you Steven Spielburg?" and he said "Yes, I am".

Yeah, I got close to a big star once... It burned my Goddamn face off and left me with a sunburn for the next seventy years. Damn stars, they think they're all that with their "I light up solar systems!" and their "******** with me, and I'll give you skin cancer, b***h!"... Bastards...
...Oh, you meant movie stars. Nope, never met one.

Well, a cousin of mine is a bodyguard for some stars.
I have never met him, and I really want too, he wants to meet me too. xp
He was supposed to come up recently but never did.

My aunt used to be a neighbour to the creator of Rocko's Modern Life...I think. It might have been some other show.

1. I shook hands with that gut off Animal Planet and some of the Travel Shows involving the ocean and it's animals. Manny I think his name is? From the area of Florida I live in; I think my da' knew him as a kid.
2. I have been in public with the guys of Deadstar Assembly. (DreGGs claims I'm a sexy b***h. D smile
3.I have touched the lead singer of Cannible Corpse; not the original singer though.
4. I had been with and owned a shirt signed by all the players for the Miami Hurricanes Football league; year '91. (Had as hurricane Andrew took it.)

we saw a soap opera star at a broadway play once. 3nodding i saw him, but didn't know who he was, my mom did, though.
my uncle works with the company that does tennis, so he has opportunities to meet some of the tennis players.
my grandma used to see richard hatch from survivor sometime when she went to workout at the gym, though he now moved somewhere else...
3nodding other than those instances, i really don't think i've ever been close to a star, then again, i'm not really one to be knowledgable about them, so i might've seen a minor one once and not recognized it.

I met my favourite author in Brussels, while doing shopping. It is Amelie Nothomb, a famous Belgian writer as you can imagine. heart
